Chapter 10.5

Percy P.O.V

This. Everything. Its a disaster. Its a serious disaster. I rubbed my forehead and stared at the ceiling. My eyebrow knit as I started thinking what had happened when I entered the house with Charlie. She threatened me..Blackmailed me. Sure maybe I am a wolf and I am her superior. Tsk. What's worse is that she hired hunters to attack us if I dont comply to her. I know its wrong to pick the pack over my mate but everyone in here is counting on me.

*Flashback*

Once me and Charlie entered the house. She pulled me to the living room and her smile disappeared..
'Listen here. I want you to abandon him.' She said with an emotionless face
'Abandon him? Who?' I replied.
'Dont act stupid. You know who' She said.
'You dont mean..Zane?' I said softly.
'Yes Him.' She sneered. My eyes widen and opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by her.
'Yes I know you should not deny your mate or whatever. But if you dont do what I say. I already hired hunters . They are at the outer coast of the woods. If you dont comply. I will tell them to attack and kill each and everyone like what I did to Zane's pack.' She said with a smirk.
'So..it wasnt rogues ..' I said softly.
'No it wasnt.' She replied.
I growled at her.
'I command you to stop all this, Charlie!' I shouted at her in my Alpha tone. She started shivering slightly but suddently stopped.
'Psh. You think that will work on me? I had someone put on a barrier on me' She said with a smug smirk.
I reached out to her neck and grabbed her neck, attempting to snap it. She glared at me.
'If you kill me..Those hunters will come and hunt your lil mate down and sell him off somewhere else.' She sneered.
My eyes widen and let her go...She smirked as she watches me.

*End of flashback*

I hurt Zane..Why. He is innocent. He is everything to me and I hurt him. Tears started welling up in my eyes, I did not mean to hurt him. But the pack is important. So is he. I cant choose.
I am sorry Zane. I closed my eyes and drifts to sleep

Zane P.O.V

It hurts. I cant sleep. My heart is shattered. Did I make a wrong move? My eyes started to watered and tears break loose. My tears streamed down my cheek. I curls up under the blanket and started scratching my arms. My eyes slowly closed and I drowned into darkness.

*Few days later*

Percy..did not come for me. So he really did abandon me, I was right. I am not wanted anymore. I have gotten skinnier. Lighter. My muscles are nearly gone. I did not bother to exercise or eat. I am tired of being hurt. I might as well starve to dead than wait for someone..to actually come back for me..
I stared at my reflection in the mirror. Its over. Its the end. For me.
