Chapter 14

Zane P.O.V

I raised an eyebrow toward the guy in front of me and he did the same thing to me.
'Is there something wrong?' I questioned him. He smirked and shook his head. I can see his fangs when he smirked. Ah a vampire. I nodded and turned around on my heels before walking down the street. His stare on my back made me shivered not a pleasant one either. He kinda give me a creepy stalkish feeling. I walked down the street quicker without looking back, not even wanting to spare a single glance at the guy and I ran into something hard like thing. Maybe a wall I thought to myself.
'Whoa there. Whats the big rush hunny' The voice of the person or thing I ran into.
I growled loudly at the person and side steps before walking away from this person, keeping my head down. Hmpf. How dare he call me hunny. I shivered at the word as it made me remember something. I then shook my head and continue walking down the street, heading towards...to be honest I forgot where was I suppose to go. Hm. Maybe I could pay a visit to the pack house and play with the puppies or I could catch a movie or something. Nah. I might as well go and play with the puppies. I hummed as I starts jogging towards the pack house, eager to play with the puppies. I reached the doorstep of the pack house in about uhhhh...30 minutes??

I knocked on the door. No one answered. I knocked on the door second time. Still no answer. When I was about to knocked harder for the third time, the door flung open and my knuckle ended up on someone's head. He yowled in pain and growled at me. 'Watch what your doing, dumba- Oh hey Zane' the man said. I recognize this voice anywhere. Alpha. Percy. The person who barged into my house without asking my permission.
'Were you about to call me a dumbass, you dumbass? I am not apologizing.' I huffed and crossed my arms in front of my chest. Alpha raised an eyebrow at me.
'What are you here for? Did you come here to look for me?' He said with that cocky smirk on his face.
'No. I came to play with the puppies.' I sighed and ran my finger through my hair. I heard him clicked his tongue and he stepped aside to let me in. I nodded my head to show my thanks and walked into the house. I made my way toward the basement and was greeted with a bunch of puppies pouncing onto me. I squealed and fell down.
'Ow!!' I laughed softly after yelping in pain. The puppies started licking my cheek.
'Hello kids. How are you?' I asked em. They barked in response. I giggled and pats the puppy on their head.
'They seem to love you a lot considering they are super shy.' Alpha mumbled quietly.
I just nod and a question blurted out of my mouth.
'Where is their mom?'
'Oh. Charlie took them out for a shopping spree.' Alpha replied. I jolted unconsciously when I heard Alpha mentioned Charlie. I felt a pang in my heart. Why? Who Alpha is with is definitely none of my business. I shook my head and continues playing with the pups.

During the time I spent playing with the puppy. Alpha stared at my back. I played with the pups till they passed out. Before I knew it, it was already 8pm. I got up and looked at Alpha whom have already passed out while staring at my back the whole time I played with le pups. I sighed and walked up the basement stairs quietly, trying not to wake him up. Suddenly his hand reached out to grab my hand. Sparks flew throughout my body.

'Don't go, Zane...' I could feel myself blushing after hearing him said that. I tugged my hand away slowly and walked out the basement and guess what I was greeted with the Luna presence, Charlie. I bowed my head and walked past her, not bothering to spare a glance at her. I made my way out of the pack house and starts sprinting far far far away from the pack house. After about 20 minutes of sprinting, I reached my house. Finally. I unlocked the front do- Aik. it is already unlocked. But how? I slowly turned the knob and walked inside my house. The tv is switched on and a blond headed guy is sitting there, right on the couch, probably asleep. I walked toward him and poked the stranger with a chopstick that I have right on my dining table. His eyes snapped open and grabbed ahold of the chopstick, pulling toward him. Making me stumble and fall right on his lap. I squeaked in response of his actions and squirms around but failed cause his hold was very tight on me. Before I knew it, he moved the collar of my shirt and bit down on my neck. I squirmed around more, he was sucking my blood out. The world around me started spinning and I passed out. It seems like this unknown mysterious man drained too much of me.
Before I fully blacked out, the man mumbled some curses under his breath and after that, my whole world went dark.
