Chapter 10

Zane's P.O.V

So, here I am. Stuck shopping with Nell and Isa.
I sighed deeply and started recalling how I got into this situation..

*Flashback*

'Zaneeeee~' A female voice shouted. I did not bother turning around since I know who it is and I sighed again.
"What do you want, Isa' I said. I am reading a report on the attacks that have been happening recently. Percy is well busy with the pack, guarding the shed in the back. I am still wondering what is in there and I still have not gotten my original hair color yet. OMG god why do you do this to me. Suddenly, all I could see was darkness.
Yikes, I have been kidnapped
'Let Me Out!' I shouted at my best friend.
"Nevah' She said then dragged me away

*Present*

So that happened 1 hour ago and here I am, carrying a dozen of paper bag filled with dresses. The girls are getting ready for Spring Dance. Ugh. Girls.
I sighed and sat at the bench as the girls went crazy and squealing bout the new dress. I can see why their dad never let them go shopping, they are spending the money like how we all drink water. Wait. That is a bad example. Damn.
I groaned again when the girls ran to another shop and came back out with three paper bags. I wanted to facewall. I decided to message their mate and tell them to come help me out. They replied me saying that they will be there in about 10 minutes and they asked me to bear with it. I groaned again and sighs.

'Zane! Hurry Up!' The girls called out to me.
I sighed in frustration. This must be the 100th time I sighed. I stood up from the bench and pick up the paper bags then walked toward them. As I continued to follow behind them, I heard someone calling my name. How that person called me was sickenly sweet. It send shiver down my spine. Its a female voice. I turned around and my eyes landed on a girl who snapped at when she flirted with Percy. I growled at her. She flinch in fear but covered it with a smile.
'Sooooo What are you doing here?' She asked me with her annoying voice. Ya I hate her. If you ask me why. Its because she is a bitch yo.
'Helping to carry these paper bags.' I said softly. She just smiled then she grabbed my collar and pulled me down till my face is few inches away from hers.
'Listen here. Lover boy. Percy. Is. Mine. I will get him back no matter what. He is not yours. I will do whatever it takes to get him. Even if it means to kill you' She sneered at me.
My eyes widen and I growled at her.
'He is not your mate. He is my mate. So you take your filthy nails off him. He did not mark you. He marked me.' I said then pushed her away. She gasped and glared at me.
'I will have him!' She growled then walks away.
Grumbling softly and I looked around. The girls disappeared. Great. Good fucking going, Zane.

Rubbing my forehead and I felt someone wrapped their arms around my waist from behind. The scent smelled familiar and I purred then leans back against that person. I tilt my head up and saw Percy.
'Hey Babe' He said and then showed me his charming.
'Hey. What are you doing here?' I asked him.
'Wot? I cant visit my lovable mate who thinks he is so mighty?' He said teasingly and he started pouting. I groaned softly as he ran his arms up my chest.
'Erm..You can. I am just wondering. ' I said softly while blushing slightly.
'Well..Nelly and Isa's mate dragged me here and also I felt your anger and frustration. What happened?' He whispered.
So I told him about what just happened between me and that bitch. Percy's eyes flashed silver for a moment there. I could feel his anger . I slowly put my hands on his and I could feel that he is slowly calming down.
'Come on..The girls must be home now..Lets get these stuff to my car and lets go back to my home' He said. I nodded and pick the bags. Percy helped me to take some of them and he started walking. I followed behind him, ignoring the stares from people. Some were menacing. Some were lovable. I shivered and quickly ran to Percy's side.
We walked out the mall and to the parking lot. I put all the stuff in the back seat and climbed into the passenger seat. Once Percy get into the driver seat, he grabbed the back of my head and pulled me into a deep kiss, making me blush like a tomato.
He pulled back and smirk at me. I look away from him and look outside the window.

Percy start the car engine making it purr. He pulled out the parking lot and started driving back to his house. I sighed and watches as the scenery passed by. After what feels like forever, we finally reached his home. I get out of the passenger seat and the first thing I am greeted with is that girl from the mall. I forgot her name.
'What are you doing here, Charlie?' Percy sneered at her.
So this bitch name is Charlie. Hmmm.
'Oh. Nothing. Just waiting for you' She said.
'How many times should I say that I am gay and I have a mate' Percy told her.
'Ya I know. Just your mom asked me to tell you that dinner is ready' She said and grabs his arm then dragged him in. I watched as he disappeared into the house then I slowly walk back into the house.
Ooo..guess what I saw. Charlie sitting between Percy's legs in the living room.
I coughed and Percy look at me. I pointed at Charlie.
'What's she doing there?' I asked
'Ah..Nothing. Just sitting here' Percy pointed out.
'Can she move?' I asked him. Percy look from her to me then shook his head.
'No can do. Sorry..' He said softly. I growled in annoyance and stomp to my room, slamming the door to my room. My eyes watering slightly and I quickly wipe them away.

When it is time for dinner, I went down to the dining room. Charlie is sitting next to Percy. My seat. 'What is she doing there?' I asked his dad.
'Erm. I dont know..' His dad said.
I growled..and Charlie smirked at me.
'Percy...?' I said his name softly.
'What is it?' He replied in annoyance. My eyes widen and walk out the dining room.
' I do not feel like eating. I am gonna spend the night as someone else home. See ya' I said coldly like there is no emotion applied to it. They did not say anything. So you decided to pick her over me. I walked out the house and dialed Leo's number. It started ringing for a while then Leo picked up the phone.
'Hello?' He said
'Ya. Leo. Can you pick me up? I need a place to crash at. I have no place to sleep at.' I told him.
'Oh. Okay. Zane. I be there in like 10 minutes.' He said.
'Okay. Thanx' I said.
Leo ended the phone call and I put my phone back into my pocket. I sat by the roadside and waited for Leo.
After what feels like forever , Leo arrived. In the passenger seat, there is a cute boy sitting and I suppose that is his mate. I get into the back seat.

'Hey' I said softly. Leo turned around and smiled at me.
'Hey Zane. Sup?' He said.
I shook my head, as if telling him I did not want to talk bout it. Leo nodded.
'Oh and meet Jez. My mate' Leo added.
' Nice to meet you' Jez said.
I nodded in reply and Leo started driving. I stared outside the car window. The car passed Percy's house . The window of the living room is opened and I could clearly see inside it. What I saw is the most despicable, heart wrenching sight. Charlie kissing Percy and he looks like he is enjoying it but at the same time he look hesistant. I looked away from the window and shed a tear. I feel like I have been rejected again.This is the end.
