Toxic (Hazbin Hotel Valentino Fanfic)

One- Amara, what have you done?

"Amara what have you done?!"

Amara could still hear Angels voice when she told him that she signed the contract and agreed to Valentino's terms. She could hear the heartbreak in his voice, see the look of terror in his eyes. He was scared for her and he had every right to be.

She had seen firsthand what Val had done to Angel. She knew of the cruelty he possessed. She had no idea what to expect from being his 'girlfriend'- if that was even a good word to describe what this was. Whatever she agreed to she knew it was going to be full of toxicity. And right now she was dreading what he was going to do next.

"I still can't believe you did it." Angeldust said, interrupting her thoughts. She was sitting on the edge of his bed. He had his arms crossed. He had been like this since the day she signed the contract.

"I did it for you Angel." Amara replied, looking down at her hands. Angel huffed in response.

"I didn't ask you to! And how am I supposed to live with this knowing he's only going to hurt you now?" Angel snapped.

"I can't stand to see you hurt anymore! I'll be fine, I promise! Let me take your pain away Angel! You deserve to be happy!" Amara said as she reached out and hugged Angel. She was short at only 5'5" so she was quite small compared to Angel and even smaller compared to Val. Angel hugged her back with both sets of his arms and Amara swore she head him trying to hold back tears.

"I know you're only trying to help me Amara....but now he's going to put all of his focus on you...I just...I don't want to see him do to you what he's done to me..." Angel said softly. Fat Nuggets who was also in his bed nuzzled Angel.

Amara let go of the hug and sighed. "It's going to be okay Angel. I don't regret my choice one bit." She said with a smile.
