"Well take it from here." Nurse said to Rabiya and Rafael as Aiden enters the ER.
"I should've check before I make him eat shrimp. I should've stock some cetirizine and make him drink just in case-" Rabiya talk nonstop and cursing. Blaming her self.
"Ssshh.." Rafael tap his shoulder. "Don't blame yourself. Everything will be fine."
"I should take care of him more careful...I..I.." she burst into tears and her knee felt weak.
Rafael make her seat one of the still chairs.
Naihilamos nito ang mga palad sa mukha nito.
"Please, Rab. I feel more guilty seeing you like this." He looked away then close his both hands together. "I can't be a good father to him at all. I just... I don't know what to do. I'm so afraid Rab,..I might lost him any minute. And it's really hard to bare." He said then tumungo..
"We won't lost him, okay!" She desperately said then fixed her hair. "We'll do everything we can. I can't lose him. W-we can't. I can't lose another member of our family Kuya." She cried.
The painful days when they heard about they're parents death is rushing down to her.
"We won't." The Rafael hugged her tightly.
They waited for half an hour then the Doctor Allison came. Aiden's regular MD.
"How's Felip?" Agad na tanong ni Rabiya.
"Is he okay?' Rafael asked
"He has a Shellfish Allergy. It cause him a severe reaction called anaphylaxis."
"This is the first time he has allergy." Rafael answered.
"Anaphylaxis might start with some of the same symptoms as a less severe reaction, but can quickly get worse and he may have trouble breathing or pass out. So I suggest that don't make him eat such seafoods. We know it will be hard for you to know is he's not feeling well since he can't feel it at all."
"I... I will look harder after him. I promise Allison." Rabiya said with her friend.
Nag paalam ito at pumasok naman ang dalawa sa kwarto.
"Kailan ba mag iiba ang panga lawang tahanan ni Aiden?" Tanong ni Rafael while kissing his Son's forehead.
"He can't feel any emotions and pain. Now he can't seafood, which he like the most. Anaphylaxis is life threatening."
"If you look at him a bit longer, he's been dead by now.." malungkot na sabi ni Rafael. "Why did my Son needs to experience this kind of life? We already have everything when it comes to financial. But still...they can't cure him." He said bitterly.
