         PRETTY FACES ARE EVERYTHING

Both males had said good bye and parted ways to their classes. Seungmin walked alone and entered his building. He took the elevator to the second floor and knew not to worry since it was barely 9:04 in morning and the class wouldn't start until 9:30 am.

The blonde continued to take his time and looked around for a specific ginger male but it seemed that the male was no where to be found at the moment. He quietly enters the room, only a few students were in and he took his seat at the back putting his backpack to save a seat for him.

"you're seungmin right?" The blonde looks up and sees a familiar face. The same brown haired girl from his recent class 'song writing and singing' the second twin which Jisung talked about. "yeah." Said the blonde with unreadable expression.

The brown haired sits in front of the younger and smiles brightly. "and you're?" Says the unsure male not knowing how to refer her as. "Hwang Yeji, I noticed we had the previous class together but I didn't know we had this one too."

Seungmin set his arms on the table. "Me neither."

"you're quite popular, you know? I can confidently say you're as popular as my twin brother.." she adds making the other perk up. "why so? How can I be so popular when it's barely my second day?"

Yeji giggles. "what do you mean why? Look at you, you're so pretty and cute. When someone is as handsome, they get attention from others." The blonde laughs nervously. "I'm sure there are lot more attractive guys than myself or ain't I wrong?"

Yeji frown at the other's comment. "sure there can be but you're quite the topic of school. You see pretty faces are everything and it makes it easier too live with.. than be unattractive. It makes harder to live like that but nothing beats pretty face."

'pretty faces are everything? Right, she's right in this world it's easier to be pretty than not.' Seungmin thought to himself.

"Pretty privilege, it's what it's called. People tend to treat pretty people better than unattractive people. People are much nicer, defend you, it can even sometimes get you out of trouble and they compliment you." Seungmin looked at the brown haired and saw the way she spoke about it. The way her own tone changed even her face expression.

It made the blonde think as the brown haired went through something similar like him but didn't want to say anything if he was wrong.

"what about unattractive people? What happens to them?" Yeji's glaze shifted to the blonde who had pain in his eyes. "Unattractive people tend to notice how others are to them, how they don't receive the same attention nor the same treatment. People with pretty privilege say that pretty privilege isn't a thing but that's because they always had it and can't imagine a life without it. Unlike unattractive people, they notice everything nothing ever goes unnoticed by them.

The ones who know that there's pretty privilege out there are the ones who had glow up. They know what it was like without pretty privilege." The blonde cleared his throat.

"d-did you go through something like that?.." Yeji looked away and then looks back at seungmin. The smile she wore went to a sad smile. It was easy to read and more if you scanned expressions.

"You can say that." Says Yeji and smiles slightly at the other. "I apologize for asking you that.." the brown haired shakes her head. "No need for apologies besides it's all in the past."
