Cole picked up the fallen cone shaped hat. Apprehension and worry filled the room alongside the ninja, and they all scrambled to get answers from Wu.

"Sensei? Was that Onyx?

"What happened?"

"Who is she?"

Wu held up his hands, silencing his students. "That was Onyx,

Kai shuffled nervously. He hadn't been the one who hurt her, but she might not take to him kindly because of his element. "But how do you know her?" He asked.

"She is Lloyd's cousin. His mother's sister's daughter."

"Why is she..." Kai trailed off, not sure what to ask. Why was she here? Why was she hurt? How? His mind immediately jumped to the worst possible conclusions, and he was afraid he knew what was happening, or going to happen.

New enemy.

"We're not entirely sure," Lloyd answered.

Wu turned to the Green Ninja. "You and Misako are her last living blood relatives. Technically Garmadon too," He stroked his beard.

"What about her mother? Misami? Is that her name?"

"That is exactly what I'm most concerned about." He faced the other ninja who looked confused and desperate for answers.

Cole spoke up, frowning. "How come we never heard of her—Lloyd's aunt, and this girl—before? Every time something like this happens, an age old enemy returns or some new guy wanting to take over Ninjago. Seriously."

Wu stared at his students for a while. "Once Onyx awakes, we will find out. For now, I suggest you train," Wu returned to his candle lit room. "I am going to meditate." The door slammed shut behind the old man.

Lloyd, Cole, Jay, and Kai didn't do any training. Instead, the boys spent an hour grilling Lloyd for answers, and he answered as best as he could.

Zane didn't leave the room until the evening, when he quickly made some food in the kitchen. The other ninja crowded Zane, asking about the girl, but all he said was that she'd awakened. He made Cole and Kai go into the city to retrieve more burn medicine, giving a list of things to get.
He disappeared back into Onyx's room with some food, and the soon the Ninja were left alone again.
Wu had gone not long after, promising to be back in a day or two, and reminded Lloyd to retrieve Onyx's horse soon.

So during one of their nightly city patrols, the Ninja had taken a detour and brought Onyx's horse home. It was shy and skittish, and Cole ended up with a bruised shoulder, Jay had a nipped finger, and Kai looked traumatized after being chased a good 15 minutes. He refused to come down from the pine tree he scaled until the others had lead the horse away.
It had taken the boys a couple hours before they finally managed to get the horse back to the monastery.
It was a beautiful horse though, and Lloyd caught himself counting the three white socks over and over as the ninja built a quick fence to hold the horse.

It was another two days before Onyx reportedly left her room.
The day was drawing to a close, the sun already disappearing beneath the land, when Zane helped Onyx out of the room, and outside. She stood with her face turned to the moon, eyes closed, for a few minutes. When started swaying, Zane scooped her up and brought her back inside.
The next day Zane mentioned Onyx wanted to eat lunch with the others.

They were halfway through making a mess when Zane walked in. They all pommpled him with questions about the girl, food, and accusations about who spilled what/burnt that/dropped this.

"Out."

Zane kicked them out of the kitchen, and they sulk in the dining room, until the aroma of beef, vegetables and other heavenly food smells waft in.
