~Three Years Later~

Dempsey's POV

Location: Charleston, North Carolina

Three years have passed, since the events that nearly destroyed our world. Delilah has her memories, before meeting Evan, back. She's still agile at the fact that Richtofen kidnapped me, but I kept telling her 'No one can ever contain Tank Dempsey for long.' Now, life is good and I've retired from the Marines, wanting to get rid of the memories of my comrades, especially the Nazi bastard. As I drunk my coffee, I heard a knock on the door. I quickly got up, knowing that Delilah came to visit. I opened the door and saluted my daughter, as she did the same. "Morning Corporal.", Delilah firmly said. "Morning General.", I firmly said, cracking a small smile, at the fact that Delilah, did of course, become a legend, just like me, in the end. "Thanks dad. For everything.", she said, before hugging me. After a while, I let her in and we both sat down to talk and drink coffee. "So, you're now one of the generals for the Marines? You made me so proud, Delilah.", I smiled. Delilah smiled back and sipped on her coffee. "Of course, dad. Although it was Colleen's dream, I had to do it for her. She was my best friend. Too bad she died in a grenade explosion. You and your buddies said that there was nothing left of her.", Delilah sadly said, but she smiled back at me. I knew this wasn't true. Colleen was killed by those maggots. I lied to Delilah, so she wouldn't remember anything that had to do with Richtofen, especially Evan. "Yeah, poor Colleen. She died serving her country, though.", I simply replied back. "Of course.", Delilah answered. I saw that Delilah was rubbing her head, like she had a headache. "You okay?", I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, just a headache, I guess.", Delilah said, standing up. "Well, thanks for the coffee dad, but I'm going home to rest. I came here to visit, that's all.", Delilah said, heading for the door. "Ok Delilah. I'll see you next time when you visit.", I said, opening the door. "Okay dad, I'll see you soon.", she said, as she left to go into her jeep. Her car turned on, and I watched as she drove down the muddy road, before she took a left, making it impossible to see her now. I sigh, I really hope it's just a headache.

Richtofen's POV

Location: Berlin, Germany

You know vhat? I'm actually starting to miss my comrades. Our bloody fights, our bitter rivalries, and of course, defeating Samantha, always brought a smile to my face. Now, it's boring, to just sit at home and trying to actually have a normal life. The only thing that actually brought joy into my simple life was Evan and the fact that he doesn't remember his so called 'angel'. "Father. I'm home.", I heard Evan call from the living room. I quickly got up from my Library and went down the stairs to greet my son. "How vas vork, Evan?", I asked, as I met him. "Well, being one of the top surgeons and trying to save hundreds of lives everyday, while also being the owner of one of the most successful hospitals in all of Germany is great, but it's also a whole waste of energy.", Evan sighed, as he placed his white coat on the coat hanger. "Vell do you vant me to make dinner? I'm making you zhose potatoes zhat you love so much.", I asked, smiling. Evan, however, shook his head. "That sounds great father, but I've been having a headache all day, and I think it's best for me to go get some sleep.", Evan said, before heading up the stairs. "Alright son, Guten Nacht.", I called out. "Guten Nacht.", I heard Evan say, before the door shut behind him.

Delilah's POV

As I placed my uniform in the closet, I couldn't help but wonder about someone. I couldn't remember who this person was, but I felt like I needed to remember. It was really getting on my nerves, that I couldn't remember this person or why it was so important to me to remember. I shook my head and gently rubbed it. It's just a headache, I told myself. I changed into a cameo tank top and black shorts, before I went to the bathroon to go brush my teeth. I left the bathroom and headed for my bed, but before I could, I looked out the window at the beach. The moonlight shown on the waters, as some of the tides crashed by the sides of the jagged rocks. I decided to go outside to hopefully cure my head with the sounds of the water and the beautiful scenery. I grabbed my coat and I walked down on the docks, heading for the ocean. The sand was light, beneath my feet, as I used the moonlight to see where I was going. I then made it to another dock, so I could be farther into the waters. I stopped at the edge and I simply looked out. The small breeze blew in my hair, while also catching the scent of sea water in my nostrils. I thought that this atmosphere would help my headache, but it got worse. I had took some migraine pills to help, but it didn't seem to effect me at all. Unless if it wasn't a headache. Suddenly, a sharp pain seemed to pierce my skull, causing me to hold my head. I kneeled down on the dock, as my head boomed louder and louder, until it finally stopped. I held my head up and I gazed at the water below. An image seemed to appear, but all I saw were a pair of mysterious yet gorgeous green eyes. Soon, a face started to appear and at that time...something seemed to click in my mind. My head soon recieved visions, memories, of this person. As I looked at the face that stared at me with those enchanting green eyes, I covered my mouth and silent tears streamed down my eyes. Evan?

Evan's POV

As I fell asleep from exhaustion, I began to dream. It wasn't anything that I ever dreamed of. It was some type of wedding and I was standing there, as the strange people sat down, in front of the altar. I looked at myself, seeing that I was dressed in a steel black suit, with gold cufflings and a green bowtie. I slowly walked down the altar and I spotted my father, among the people. "Father, what is going on?", I asked. My father simply smiled, as he put his hand on my shoulder. "You've done vell, my son. You've made me proud", he said, smiling even bigger. I was still confused. Proud of what? I looked up at the altar and I saw the back of a woman dressed in a white wedding dress. I cautiously moved beside her, so I could see who it was. Just when I did, she turned around to face me. Her smile was warm and her ocean blue eyes were filled with joy. She had her blonde hair in a tight bun, which was hidden by the veil that she wore. She was very beautiful. She reached for my hand and lightly squeezed it. "There you are, Evan. I was so worried.", the woman said. I wasn't in control of my movements, as I leaned forward and I kissed her cheek. "It's okay, my angel. You don't have to worry anymore.", I said, not in control of my words, either. By now, I had opened my eyes and I sat up from my bed. I felt my chest; my heart seemed to beat loud and fast. Then, my head seemed to boom as loud as my heart, as I grunted in pain. Suddenly, my vision was nothing but flashbacks of this girl in my dream. I saw how we met, being together, kissing each other, me holding her in my arms,me and her making love, everything, including an explosion. Just like that, my vision went normal and the massive headache was gone, leaving me with memories. I did nothing, but simply put my face in the palm of my hands. "Delilah. My angel. I will find you and when I do, no one will seperate us.", I muttered, as a few hot tears fell down from my eyes and onto the bed.

Author's POV (Gasp)

Just like that, Delilah and Evan suddenly remembered, after three years without remembering each other. From that night on, they woke up very early and went to bed very late, as they spent their days looking for each other, hoping that one day, the angel and the demon could be reunited again. Hoping for that one day, their forbidden love could come back to life. Did they ever find each other?, you may ask. Well, I'm not even sure about that, although I am the author. In the end, however, don't we all deserve a 'Happily Ever After' ?
