Warmth (Kyoya Ootori x Reader)

(A/N: Video informs you what a dogeza is. (Somewhat, you'll get the idea, if not, google it) (Honestly this started out pretty half assed, but now I am pretty proud of it) )

Relationship ( So Far ;] ) :

You had previously ran in to Kyoya after he got a minor injury and had to be taken to the emergency room. Since you were the only one available and you had no surgeries to do that day, you decided to attend him yourself, and since that day you have been considerably close.

Scenario :

You have been going out with someone you've liked for about a month now, but as you return from your break, you see them kissing one of your co-workers. Once your co-worker returns, you go up and ask them, which results in your break up.

I can't believe I forgot my coat at the hospital, I made my way back to the hospital, getting goosebumps due to the cold weather, I didn't even remember until now, even though I had the cold weather to remind me.

Omph-

I looked up to see one of my old patients, "Ah, good evening Kyoya-san, I didn't expect to see you around these parts", I said, worried about his condition, "Is your leg doing okay", I asked, examining it as well as I could from the distance between my eyes and his clothed knee.

Unable to read his expression since I was still looking at his knee, I didn't expect to see the serious man chuckle, "Ah yes, I'm not here for that today actually", he said, a silky voice emitting into the atmosphere.

Straightening myself out, I felt my cheeks redden slightly, "I see.. Pardon me asking, but why are you in the area, I thought you lived far away", I asked, recalling what he had told me as his time as my patient.

Taken slightly aback, he allowed a small, close eyed smile to become part of his relaxed features, "I'm surprised you remembered", he said, opening his eyes, "I was actually here for work I had in the area, what about you", he asked, somewhat curious, with a bit of suspicion mixed in there.

"E-eh, well I was actually on my lunch break, but I am returning earlier since it looks like it might snow", I smiled, reminding myself of how cold it actually was.

He nodded, now confused, "Why didn't you go the cafeteria in your workplace, are you dissatisfied with the food?"

Blinking, I had never came to the realization that it may seem that way, "N-no, I have always used my lunch breaks to try to catch up with how my old patients are doing, I haven't really gotten to try out the food there", I said, surprised at the sudden realisation.

Tilting his head, he slightly furrowed his brows, "Then do you actually eat during your breaks", he asked, now concerned.

Oh god, I must be throwing his emotions all over the place, "That's not it.. They usually invite me to eat something, but some of them are relatively poor, so I usually try to invite them to keep their nutrition up.

The graceful smile returned to his face, shaking his head, he patted my head, "It's not your job you know, you don't have to do that", his gentle voice warming me up without the help of a coat or scarf.

Taking my turn to smile, I looked down, "Well, I worry about them, they were at the hospital for a reason at one point, and that won't magically leave, so even if I don't have a lot of time to, I still try to", I said, lost in thought, then snapping out of it, turning up to face the taller male, "B-but if something is going on at work, I have to take care of them too, they are my patients and they too have a reason they are there", I enthusiastically exclaimed.
