"So you saw her at least accidentally you finally encountered her, how are you feelin'?"
A sharp voice interrupted Jennie's immersed strokes, causing her to startle. The paintbrush tumbled from her hand, meeting the floor with a soft thud. Jennie shot a glare at the intruder, her eyes sharp with irritation.
"Get out of here," she ordered, hastily placing a cover over the unfinished masterpiece on her easel.
The intruder, undeterred, snickered and chuckled, leisurely wandering around the art room. His eyes fell on a particularly fascinating painting hanging on the wall – one that held a special place in Jennie's heart. The monumental canvas depicted a face so naturalistic that it seemed as though the subject might step out of the frame at any moment.
"Chill, Jennie. You need to control that anger of yours if you want her to want you. I still don't get it – how can you dream of a girl before actually meeting her? What's it like to ultimately encounter her?" Taehyung calmly inquired, his eyes scanning the room adorned with paintings, all featuring the same exquisite face.
Jennie grimaced, "First, get out of here, and don't touch anything, Tae!"
She tracked him out, locking the art room behind her.
Her studio was her monastery, a sacred space guarded with unwavering devotion. Yet, there remained a mystery that eluded her understanding—why could she effortlessly paint the face of her dreams while scuffling with other subjects? Unbeknownst to her, the portraits she brought to life on canvas were a manifestation of love, each stroke a reflection of her profound sentiments.
In the act of drawing, she didn't merely create; she lived within the strokes, experiencing the canvas as if it were a vivid extension of the dreams that visited her at night. Her fingers, guided by an inexplicable force, moved with a life of their own, shaping the familiar features of Roseanne with every intentional stroke. Attempts to diverge and create something else only resulted in the resurgence of Roseanne's image, an unrelenting force pulling her back to the face that occupied her dreams.
"Sister, are you Lesbian?" Taehyung asked softly, concern evident in his tone for his older sister.
Jennie put herself a glass of scotch in the bar counter of their home, the luxurious house boasted an impeccably designed bar counter, a focal point of the residence that seamlessly blended opulence with comfort. Crafted from dark, rich wood, the counter exuded an air of sophistication, adorned with intricate carvings that added a touch of timeless elegance.
The bar area itself was strategically placed within an expansive room, surrounded by plush, low-lit furnishings that created an intimate ambience. The immaculate interior design featured dark-toned walls adorned with tasteful artwork and subtle accent lighting, casting a warm glow across the space. A curated selection of top-shelf liquors and exotic spirits adorned the shelves behind the bar, reflecting both refinement and a discerning taste.
This luxurious setting provided a perfect backdrop for Jennie's occasional soirées, where the mingling of high-profile guests unfolded in an atmosphere of understated glamour and exclusivity.
"I don't know" Jennie sighs sipping her drink not paying much attention to her younger brother.
"You must know because—"
"First she invaded my sleep, and now..." 'my heart' remains silent on her lips.
She was initially driven by curiosity to unravel the identity of the woman in her dreams, but as those dreams evolved into more intimate fantasies, she could no longer deny her non-heteronormative inclinations. Boys failed to capture her interest, and it was the allure of girls, particularly fueled by her dreams with the women, that had now become undeniable.
