Jennie stood in the driveway, heart heavy as she watched Rosé's car disappear down the street. Taking a deep breath, she turned back to the house, determination replacing her despair. She needed answers, and she knew precisely where to start.
Marching into the dining room, she encountered Irene and Taehyung still seated, exchanging smug glances. Jennie's fury flared, her eyes blazing with outrage.
"What the hell is wrong with you two?" Jennie snapped, her voice trembling with restrained rage. "Do you have any idea what you've done?"
Irene shrugged, feigning innocence. "We were just having a conversation. Can't blame us if your wife can't handle the truth."
Taehyung sneered, "Yeah, sis. We were only speaking about that girl you love so much. The one with the dark brown hair and light brown eyes."
Jennie's patience snarled. "You were talking about Rosie! You made her jealous of herself!" She pointed an accusing finger at them. "How could you be so cruel?"
Irene raised an eyebrow. "We didn't lie. You do love that girl. She's the reason you paint, right? She didn't know you even paint, did she?"
Jennie's heart sank. Irene was right in one aspect; Rosé didn't know about her art. She had kept that part of her life hidden, a private cloister where she poured out her emotions. The irony of Rosé being jealous of herself was both tragic and infuriating.
Taehyung leaned back in his chair, arms crossed. "We merely wanted to see how much she truthfully cares about you. Guess we found out."
Jennie clenched her fists, trying to keep her composure. "You have no right to meddle in my relationship. You don't get to play games with our lives." She took a step closer, her voice lowering to a treacherous whisper. "You've hurt her deeply, and you've put me in a position where she thinks I've been lying to her."
Irene looked slightly taken aback by Jennie's vehemence. "We didn't mean to cause that much trouble. We just... wanted to protect you."
"Protect me?" Jennie echoed, her voice rising again. "You've done the exact opposite! Rosie is my wife. I love her more than anything, and you've made her question that love."
Jennie's mind raced, trying to figure out how to fix the mess her siblings had created. She needed to make Rosé understand the truth, to show her the depth of her feelings.
"You two need to understand something," Jennie stated, her voice steadying. "Rosie is the reason I paint. Every stroke of the brush, every color I choose, it's all because of her. She's my muse, my provocation."
Taehyung and Irene exchanged a glance, the gravity of Jennie's words sinking in.
"I know why you're angry at me, Ire. I'm sorry truly I'm, I shouldn't have pointed the gun at you but... I needed Rosie at that moment not medication. I cannot explain what she mean to me but she means more than anything for me that I can tell. And now," Jennie continued, "I have to find a way to make her see that, to understand that she's the love of my life. So, stay out of it. Let me fix what you tried to broke."
Without waiting for a response, Jennie spun on her heel and left the room.
"It's not my fault that you're brunette in my dream but sometimes blonde" she muttered to herself.

Jennie sat in her office, the usual hum of movement around her fading into the background. Her introspections were consumed by Rosé, the picture of her face, and the pain in her eyes as she left. She couldn't concentrate on the paperwork in front of her, the spreadsheets and reports blurring together as she replayed the morning's events in her mind.
