Beau, Jenny and I walk into the interrogation room with the strange young man, who had his arms folded over each other on the table and his head lowered on top his arm. "How you doin'?" Beau asked him and Jenny slams the file in front of the man, who startles awake and sits up.

"Sheriff Beau Arlen." Beau introduced as I close the door behind us and we go over to sit on the chairs across from the man. "This here is Deputy Jenny Hoyt and Deputy (y/n) (l/n). What can we call you?" Beau asked the man. But he just looks at us and smiles, almost in a gloating way.

"You're not in the system." Jenny said. "That is good." The man mutters. "Seriously though, is there, uh, something we can call you?" Beau asked and the man tried to move his arms but they were chained to the table.

"Let's try this question. How long you been living in the woods?" I asked the man. "Long enough." The man replied. "Two of your victims were guests at Sunny Day Excursions." Jenny informed. "Yeah, Buck Barnes said he saw you near the camp." Beau points out and the man sits back in the chair and squirms a bit. "But you went through their campers like a fox in a henhouse, didn't ya? Left us with a damn murder cluster. Isn't that right, Toby? Do you mind if I call you Toby?" Beau asked as I pull the file towards me and pull out a couple of pictures.

The man stays silent.

"Okay. His name was Luke. Her name was Mary." I tell the man as I set down Luke and Mary's picture. "Did you kill them?" I asked him and he looks at the picture for a moment then looks back at me, still silent. Then I pull out a picture of Paige and show it to him. "What about her?" I asked and the man's face changed a little. The whole time, he always looked smug and like he knew something we didn't but when I showed Paige's picture, it changed as his smile drops and his eyebrows furrows.

"Her name is Paige. We haven't been able to find her, but we did find some bloody bandages in your cabin." I add and the man looks concerned and worried as he stares at Paige's picture. He leans forward and stares at the image, his right hand finger runs over her face as if in a caressing way.

"See, this is where you help us and then we get to help you." Beau said and Jenny leans forward. "Where is Paige?" Jenny asked the man, in a firm whisper. "She's dead. I killed her." The man admits as he looks up at us.

"So, this guy is the killer?" Dakota asked me. We were at my house and I just got home about half an hour ago then explained what just happened to Dakota, sitting in the living room and drinking some beer. Harry was upstairs watching TV in the guest room.

"Well, he's only admitted to killing Paige. But...I think there's something more going on with that guy." I said before I take a sip of beer. "Yeah, maybe..." Dakota said before he chugs his beer. "I'm starting to think coming here was a bad idea." He said and I turn to him.

"It's not all bad here. You and Harry just ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time." I said and Dakota sighs. "I guess. I do have good memories here when we were kids." He sighs then he drinks again. "I had been thinking about moving here cause...I don't have anyone back in Chicago." Dakota said and I raise an eyebrow at this.

"What about Jaiden? She not living there anymore?" I asked him. Jaiden is a friend of mine and Dakota's for years, I had met her through a case I had to work on as an employee at the office she worked at was killed. I had talked to her as the victim was a friend of hers and I was trying to figure out who would've killed him. After solving the case, we had met up and started to become friend. "Nah, she moved to Texas months ago." Dakota replied.

"Oh really? She moved?" I asked him and he nods. "Yeah, she felt that the office life wasn't for her anymore. And Bonham offered her a job at his ranch." Dakota said and I give a small ah at this.
