Hurrying inside, Carrie discovered a gaping hole in the prayer closet, large enough for a person to crawl through......Suddenly she heard creaks upstairs and Carrie climbed the stairs. She looked around, but no sign of her mother was in sight. She went into her own bedroom only to find it empty.......
