This chapter is just fluff since i have two other more angsty chapters coming out soon and another couple im planning and have already started writing. Although schools just started for me today and i already have sm homework 😞😞😞

  Valentines day was coming up. Johnnie Guilbert didnt have any plans. He was just thinking of spending it in bed, on his phone. Thats what he usually did. But to him, valentine's day was just another day in a year. It wasnt really anything special.

  Jake Webber, on the other hand, loved valentine's day. He loved everything about it. He loved receiving gifts, he loved giving gifts. But this year, he didn't have a
nyone to do so with. He wasnt dating. Oh but he was crushing.

  He decided he would ask his crush out. His crush? Who was his crush? Well, of course, it was the one and only Johnnie Guilbert! Jake knew Johnnie well enough to see that he really was not into girls. Unless he was a very, very good actor.

  But that was quite unlikey, because this is Johnnie we're talking about. The only thing he knew was, well, basically everything about pop culture. But thats because of his phone.

  Jake thought about straight up telling him how he felt. But then he thought that was boring and he was not up for it. He then thought about taking him on a walk in the park. But, again, he thought it was too boring. Finally, he decided on a bike ride. Ah yes what a great idea. Johnnies definitely gonna wanna go outside and do something considered 'sports' in a way.

  He'd try it anyway. So he stood up and made his way over to Johnnies room where his door was closed. He knocked lightly.

"Johnnie" he continued to knock for a couple seconds, until he got a reply.

"Yeah? You can come in by the way" He spoke, it was clear he had just woken up.

"Alright" he opened the door and walked in, not closing it behind him as he was only looking for a 'yes' or 'no' answer.

  He walked towards Johnnies bed and sat on the edge.
"Are you up to go outside today?"

"Why?"

"Well when was the last time you even saw the outside?" He looked at him with his arms crossed. Even though he already knew the answer, he asked anyway.

"That's not the point"

Jake smiled "great your coming" he stood up "tell me when you're ready boo-bear" he walked out the room and closed the door this time.

"Oh my god that man" he shook his head and smiled as he slowly began to stand up.

  He made his way to his bathroom, brushing his teeth and doing his makeup. Just everything he normally did. He put the same clothes he usually wore on. He was ready. Shrugged. He looked fine, he looked okay. He looked the same as he usually did. He decided he would fix his hair a little bit.

  Now he was really ready. So, he walked out of his room into the kitchen where he knew Jake would be.

Jake smiled "so you are coming afterall?"

"I thought you were forcing me to go"

"Your right. Come on, lets go!"

  He grabbed Johnnies hand and started pulling him to the front door, opening it. Once they were both outside, he locked the door and they continued walking.

"So why did you wanna go on a walk? Just out of the blue?" Johnnie asked, genuinely curious because Jake never took him outside.

"Well... I just thought, your always inside. Maybe for once you could go outside!"
