The sunlight slowly crept inside the room through the curtains, lightening up the place.
Y/N yawned and opened his eyes slowly. He felt a comfortable weight on top of him, and when he looked down he smiled at the sight of Yuri cuddling him. She looked so peaceful asleep... it was a shame that they both had to get up to go to school.
Oh wait. They didn't have to... it was Saturday.
The boy smiled and kissed her on the head.
💀🌸💀
"Are you ready for our date?" Y/N asked while grinning.
"Y-yes! I'd even say that I'm thrilled," Yuri clenched her fists in excitement.
"Then let's waste no more time and hop into the car, sweetheart."
The girl blushed at the pet name and eagerly complied, making her way over to the car and putting on her seatbelt after taking a seat.
Y/N rummaged through one of the floor planks and took out a bag full of money, quickly counting the yens and making sure that his wallet was full before leaving the house.
"So... what did you have in mind, Y/N?" Yuri shyly asked.
"Well, while you were sleeping, I looked for some nice places to have breakfast around here and I found this cute looking literary cafe," he explained while his phone connected with the 4x4's computer, "after that, I'm going to take you shopping and probably we'll try out this bad boy in the wild," he accelerated and the engine roared, "I've always thought that nature is the perfect place to have a relaxed reading afternoon, so I prepared a little picnic as well."
"How can you be this perfect?" the girl said without thinking, covering her face in embarrassment once she realized what she had just verbalized.
A comfortable silence ruled over the following of the ride until they reached the cafeteria.
Y/N parked and exited, hurrying over to Yuri's side and opening her door as well.
"Th-thank you," the girl's cheeks turned a crimson color as she played with her hair.
They walked towards the door and opened it, which triggered a cute bell to ring and a head to pop out behind the counter.
"Welcome!" as Y/N and Yuri approached a table and sat down, a beautifully curvy and short girl showed up, "my name's Meru, what would you like to order?" her smile was contagious.
"Well, nice to meet you, Meru," the young man spoke, "I would like to have some green tea. What about you, Yuri?"
The girl stuttered a bit and grabbed Y/N's forearm while looking away.
"Ehm... she wants oolong hahah..."
"Okay, all noted. Feel free to grab any book you'd like to check!"
"Thank you, Meru."
She smiled sweetly and went again behind the counter.
"So... would you like me to grab you a book?" Y/N asked the girl.
She said nothing, but looked away clearly upset.
"H-honey, what's wrong?"
"Oh now you call me pet names," she mumbled.
"Wh-what?"
She crossed her arms over her generous bosom.
"Now that she's not here you call me pet names," her face was getting blushy, "why can't you call me pet names when she's right here?! Yuri this, Yuri that..." she mocked his voice, trying to sound deep, but it came out really funny.
