Vanya and Rajveer were standing there, and Rajveer wasn't even looking at her while she admired him, feeling like everything else faded away in front of him. Suddenly, Aadrash's voice interrupted their moment.
"Bhai Bhai," he called out. Rajveer told Vanya to stay put while he went to see what Aadrash wanted.
"I think he's here. You stay right here until I come back, okay?" Rajveer said to Vanya.
"Y-Yeah, okay," Vanya nervously nodded. Rajveer went over to where Aadrash's voice was coming from and noticed that there was a girl with him.
"Hey, you. Can you please give that woman this dupatta?" Rajveer asked.
"Yeah, sure. But wait, are you RV? I mean, Rajveer Agnivanshi?" the girl, Roohi, asked.
"Yeah, he is," Aadrash responded.
"I'm not asking you," Roohi said assertively, taking the dupatta from Aadrash's hands and making her way to where Vanya was standing. Emotions were running high at that moment, with Vanya eagerly awaiting Roohi's arrival.
I stood there, lost in his words, my heart racing with every thought of what he said. And then, out of nowhere, I heard Roohi's voice.
"Hey, Vanya! Is that you?" she called out. I turned to her, and she immediately noticed that something was off.
"Vanya, what happened? Where's your dupatta? Did someone try to do it with you again?" she asked, concern evident in her voice. And that's when a tear slipped from my eye.
"I think we should go," I said, trying to wipe away the tear and put on a brave face. But deep down, I couldn't bear the thought of anyone seeing me cry. I grabbed my dupatta and started walking away, ignoring Roohi's calls. I just couldn't let her witness my vulnerability.
As I hurriedly walked, lost in my own thoughts, I accidentally bumped into someone. I looked up, and there he was, staring back at me with those mesmerizing green eyes.
"Hey, why are you crying?" he asked, genuine concern in his voice. I didn't have the words to respond, so I continued on my way. But then, I felt a tug on my dupatta. I turned around to find that it had gotten caught in his watch.
