During the club meeting, Noah announced to the members that we would have a mountain trip the coming weekend. We felt excited and cheered. However, I was unsure if I could join as I needed permission from my mom to go to far places. Boboy then kept persuading me to come because it would be a great way to bond with fellow photography enthusiasts.
The weekend arrived! I prepared my things for the trip. I texted Boboy that I was on my way to meet with the group at the terminal in a few minutes. Upon arriving at the terminal, Boboy apologized to me that we were only commuting, but I had reassured him it wasn't a problem for me. The trip was long ahead of us. When we finally arrived, we were stunned by nature's beauty. Noah encouraged us to enjoy the place and take a lot of photos.
Wow! That place was beautiful. Places like those always brings me back some memories. Though I was having a good time, I was too shy to mingle with the rest. I wanted to take photos alone in a spot where no one would be at, but Boboy kept me company. So we talked. I asked him what inspired him to pursue photography. And, I learned that he started being into photography ever since his elder sister kept asking him to take photos of her every time they go on trips. Intrigued, I thought of Yvan, and so I shared to him that one time I was a personal photographer for my best friend and his sister during our trip to Baguio .
"Kailan ko bang makikilala yung best friend mo?" Boboy asked.
I was impressed that he was interested to know about Yvan.
"Bagay ah!" Noah interrupted.
"Gago!" Boboy said to Noah.
Awkward, we just laughed it off. I told Noah he was being ridiculous. Boboy and I continued on with our conversation about our interests. He liked going outside and taking on adventures. I was amazed that he and I had some things in common. Meanwhile, other club members were also talking and sharing meals with each other. Some were taking lots of photos. One was filming the sun to make a time lapse video.
What a peaceful day it was. It was already the golden hour, so Boboy and I decided to take photos together with the sunset. Later on, we took turns in taking solo photos of ourselves. Afterwards Noah called us all for a group photo to end the day. The sun had set and it was time to go home. Our group began to walk down. Being a gentleman, he offered his hand to me to keep me from slipping. Well, wasn't that sweet? I wondered if he noticed me blushing.
Everybody had parted ways. Noah, Boboy, and I were waiting for a jeepney. As the rush hour had prevented us from finding a jeepney, we decided to have dinner somewhere at an eatery. When the three of us had arrived at an eatery, Boboy decided to treat me. I declined, but he insisted anyway. There, we learned about each other's favorite food. Boboy likes isaw (chicken intestine) while Noah has no favorites in food, while I like lasagna. I instantly took photos as soon as our meals were served. But of course, we said grace before eating.
Silly Noah. He kept looking at us and grinning. He thought I didn't notice. Boboy also jokingly commented about my speaking of English most of the time which made Noah giddy. We just ignored his teasing and enjoyed our meal. Although Boboy was annoyed, it seemed like he enjoyed it as much as I did secretly. We then made our way home, and so we rode a jeepney together. When I got down from the vehicle, Boboy and I waved goodbye to each other. I could still hear Noah's voice teasing him.
"Susuntukin na talaga kita, Master!" Boboy responded to Noah.
I just rolled my eyes and walked to my house. I was indeed blushing when I turned around.
That same day when the evening approached, Yvan was hanging out with the lady he met the last time. The two of them were at an expensive lounge. They each had a glass of margarita. There was awkwardness between them as they didn't know each other that much yet. Yvan somehow didn't have the courage to converse with her, so it made her feel uneasy that she looked around the place for a while.
