After so long!!!!
I hope you all are fine and doing good in your life.

I decided it was time that I try to keep doing things that I love to despite any odds.

So here we are...

Since it was a long time since, I had a hard time writing the new chapter.
I don't know if it was upto the mark, but after erasing, deleting, reworking a lot of drafts, I am here with this.

Hope you will like it.

Suggestions are accepted and expected....

THE STRANGER

Ahaana's POV

It has been a week since our wedding celebrations came to an end. All the post-wedding rituals of me and Mahira's were done, friends and families had departed back and we were slowly adjusting to our new home.

The awkwardness that I thought would be there between me and Arjun turned out to be my pitty assumption.

After our first night took a turn and we spent most of it in the hospital, me doing my work and my husband in the waiting room I was so anxious for the next night that came. But even that went along with Arnav-Mahira's wedding preparations and me running behind everything and also enjoying my time with my new family.

It was the day after Arnav-Mahira's wedding, when me and Arjun shared our own little personal time with each other and even then to my messed up mind and overwhelmed head, I was in a run to not be alone with Arjun.

I was genuinely overwhelmed to be present before him. I was afraid that if I looked presentable and was anxious about what was going on in his mind when he looked at me like nothing else existed around us.

But my dear husband knew me more than myself.

He welcomed my ridiculous, pitiful, overwhelming mind and treated me with care and love, to erase my uneasiness until I felt so normal but new, giddy but comfortable.

And that night we slept together for the first time, in each other's solace. I found my new home in his arms, warmth in his hold, and my beautiful future in his eyes.

I didn't ever dream of a fairytale, but a normal simple happy life with someone who will remember to come back to me, with someone who will never abandon me. With someone, I will have a story to hold, filled with a lifetime of memories and moments and not just a speck of happy moments that might fade away with time.

And then one fine day, my life took a beautiful turn...

I found a fairytale of my own, I had a king and a palace and a huge kingdom. They loved me, cherished me and celebrated me. And the king showed me that I deserved to be where I was.

Never have I felt secure in my life before, in every aspect, in every second, in every form the way I have felt with him.

Even then the week that flew past kept Arjun and Arnav very busy with work to an extent that we often saw our husbands less.
