Chapter 10. Aftermath

"In local news, UA was attacked at their USJ facility yesterday and from the reports and rumors we were given and heard, multiple students have been injured, with one of them being killed" said the news lady. She then cleared her throat and continued "the reports also say that lots of villains were killed and only about 40 were arrested. Because of all these deaths, everyone is asking, what could've killed all these villains and will the person who did kill them be held responsible and what will UA's response be?".

The TV then got muted by Nezu who then looked at all the staff, except All Might, but his eyes did linger longer on a partially healed Aizawa and 13, with them only being here thanks to both Recovery Girl and Tsunade. If it wasn't for those two, then they'd still be in the infirmary.

Though next to Aizawa was Ms Joke who was rubbing his back to comfort him since whatever he went through personally, really messed him up.

"So now that we are all here, let's go over what happened in the USJ, since we have some conflicting information and now that both Aizawa and 13 are here, we can get a better picture" said Nezu.

"We thought it was all normal until a portal opened up, then lots of villains walked out of it. Seeing this I told 13 to protect the students while I engaged with the villains. While doing that Midoriya suddenly appeared from a portal and told me everyone else got Teleportad, so I gave him permission to fight. As we fought, one of his summons appeared and helped us fight until that Nomu creature attacked us, once it did, it destroyed my body... then attacked Izuku" said Aizawa. "My memory gets foggy but I remember something.... evil being brought forth, while Izuku helped heal me, before i forced him to run away to help other students. After I sent him away... I then...".

Aizawa cut himself off as his hand subconsciously went to his missing right eye, where a eye patch was.

"Let's change the subject while Aizawa calms down" said Nezu before looking at Hound Dog.

"Ahem... as you heard on the news, sadly one of our students did get killed during the USJ, it was Mineta and we are still trying to figure out how, but on that note, I'd like to do one therapy session with all the students to see if they need any therapy" said Hound Dog.

"Granted, but let's give them till Monday to recover mentally from all this, before you start these therapy sessions" said Nezu.

Hound Dog nodded his head at that before he remembered something else "Oh right... also our student Koda has also dropped out and is looking for a different high school. According to his parents, he can't handle all this stress and what happened and being a hero, was the wrong path for him".

"How unfortunate, even though he wasn't here long, he was a decent student, even if very quiet" said Ectoplasm.

They were all silent for a moment, before Midnight cleared her throat getting everybody's attention "I think it's time we address the other elephant in the room... what happened with Midoriya, All Might and Iida along with how we handle this situation".

Everyone became silent at that, it was both a easy answer and complicated one, given the situation, everyone could understand both sides of this. One Izukus quirk is ever changing and what happened might've been a defense mechanism. But on that same note, that thing killed multiple people and All Might was running on limited information.

"I still don't understand that thing... how could one teen wield that much power and have something like that?" Asked Vlad.

"His quirk honestly seems to have no limits.. so like we thought, maybe it's a defense mechanism?" Said Power Loader.

"Then why would it kill people if it was just meant to defend him?" Asked Present Mic.

"I... may have an idea..." said Aizawa getting everyone's attention as they saw his hand touch where his eye once was.
