Ch 1.2. Fall from Heaven.
Heavy breaths were heard in an unfamiliar terrain, a soft puffy ground as if it were the clouds. A man donned in a ragged brown cloak ran through the fluffy field. By his hands were a sword of pure black, and a sword cleansed with white.
Weirdly, he was being chased by a dozen of angels armed with weapons. A weird sight it was.
He soon reached the edge of the cloud, nearly falling off as the sight of the clear forest and steep mountains reached his vision. He faced the angels chasing after him as he stopped on his tracks, taking off the hoodie that hid his face.
His black hair that was lengthened to an extent reached his shoulder levels as it flew everywhere, his azure eyes showed light as he smiled playfully.
"You wouldn't chase me all the way down, would you?" He chuckled, throwing the white sword down from the sky.
"You idiot, a sword of that caliber and a fall from this height will fracture the earth." An angel exclaimed, "Split up! Catch the sword!" He followed, commanding as half of the angels prepared to give chase to the falling weapon.
"Stop right there," The man smirked, resting his black sword by his shoulder, "I'm not gonna let you stop it." chuckling as he started to point his sword against the angels.
"Hah! There's one of you, and a dozen of us, what can you do?!" Another angel taunted, arming herself as she too, points her sword against him.
"Hold it... 500 years of imprisonment, he probably has a plan up his sleeves to move now." Another stopped, staring at the Man as she examines him from afar.
"Heh, not gonna move? Too bad, bye," the Man added, throwing his other sword down, not taking his grip off of it as he, himself falls along with it.
(A/N: I could have placed this as an ending or preview or something on chapter 1 but... Too late... And well, angels ARE good, but I've played tons of games where you fight angels and valks. This is just a fantasy, so it ain't true.)

-Asuka's PoV-
We were still inside the elder's hut, eating a few cookies the elder prepared for us. His cookies are the best.
We finished introducing ourselves to Lunaria as we were now seated, waiting for the elder to come back as he left for a little errand, telling us to stay here and patiently wait for him.
"Hey, Lunaria, you're a lycan, right? Can you transform your body to a wolf like Vesper?" Seris asked, eating most of the cookies by herself. Eh? Vesper can do that? I thought he could only transform parts of his body.
"E-ehh? I-I can't actually... Do that..." Lunaria replied, scratching her cheek.
"Oh, so is that only special to him?" Seris followed, staring at Vesper for a bit, returning it to Lunaria in a second.
"Ah, no...actually, Lycans can do it too, but I... still can't... E he he." She explained.
"Ehhh, you can't?" Seris asked again as if to confirm, her tail pointed down, showing her disappointment.
"Hm... Hey, Lunaria," Vesper called, "You said.. You've met others like us. Well, what brought you here?"
"O-ohh. Umm... How do I put this..." She replied, stopping for a moment as everybody's eyes were on her. "They...were all exterminated a year ago.. I actually thought I was the only one left... Until I heard about you, Vesper."
"Hm? Heard?" We all replied, interested in knowing the answer.
"Ah.. The Elder told me about him.. He was so surprised to see another lycan too actually." She followed.
"Ahh, is that so? Guess you're pretty lucky." Seris added, her tail wagging around as she smiled at her. More like really unlucky though, to have Vesper as your only kin, REALLY UNLUCKY.
Just then, the Elder enters the hut with a troubled look on his face, his eight tails were scattered everywhere, unsettling as they kept wagging and moving.
"Hey, Elder, something the matter?" Ayumu asked the Elder. I wonder what's wrong? The elder rarely acts like that.
"Ayumu..? Ahh.. Ayumu, Seris, Vesper, Asuka, Lunaria." The elder called, receiving our attention as we all looked at him.
"Could you visit the mountains nearby? I think you could find something there that we need." He added, his ears twitching as he seemed pale.
"Some...thing?" We all muttered, wondering what that 'something' was.
"Just.. Go there right now..." The Elder followed, sitting down on his chair all gloomy.
"Hey, I have to stay here or else nobody's gonna guard the village." Vesper replied.
"That didn't stop you earlier.. Did it? Just go... Don't underestimate us adults." The Elder retorted.
"They can handle it by themselves, stealth is the only thing you've thought them isn't it?" Vesper follows, insisting on staying behind. Why doesn't he want to come along?
"My eight tails aren't just for show kiddo, just because you're the guardian of this village, it doesn't mean that you can do as you please." The Elder replies, even his body seemed pale.
"B-but." Vesper said. Geez, the atmosphere in here took a turn for the worst.
"Just GO!!" The Elder screamed at him, it's like he's so tense.
"O-okay..." Vesper flinched, afraid of the elder as he exits the hut silently.
"Be careful..." The elder said to us before we completely left the hut.

We continued through the woods, heading for the mountains without a lead on what we were supposed to find. It's weird...
Vesper kept staring off into the direction of our village, does he feel unsettled? What's this feeling I'm getting... It feels as if something's gonna happen... An impending disaster...
The five of us silently continued towards the forest, jumping from tree to tree. It was like none of us could speak with the mood earlier. I need to brighten this up as soon as possible. "H-hey.. What were we supposed to find again?" I asked, trying to lift the mood.
"Don't make a sound," Vesper ticked, clicking his tongue as he squinted his eyes, scouting the area as he grew weary.
"I was only trying to lift the mood," I pouted.
"Shh! Humans!" Vesper replied, pointing towards a fire-lit area near the mountains.
"E-ehh? Humans?" Seris asked as if to confirm, staring to where Vesper was pointing at.
"Let's go," Vesper added, leaving us as he went straight for the humans. "I have to blow off some steam."
Unable to stop Vesper, we just followed him, soon catching up to him as he stopped on his tracks, clinging tightly on to the branch as he stared towards the humans, an army marching aimlessly in the forest. There were roughly 100 of them, all armed and prepared to fight.
"H-hey.. Vesper, we shouldn't.." Ayumu commented, scared at the huge number of the humans, "Let's go back..."
"Go back...?" Seris mutters, getting our attention before she continued. "To where?" She adds, staring towards the direction of our village, fire enveloped the village as it lit the dark night, a huge puff of smoke gathered in it's skies.

=Free PoV=
The cloaked man pierced the skies as he fell down without a worry, yawning as he was bored in doing nothing. A huge crash occured as he finally landed, creating a huge crater in the forest. "Finally," He mutters, blindly staring at the skies. "I missed you... My home,"
