So, I figured that this time I might as well let him be

So I just want to say a few things before this chapter starts. Just a quick shout out to EmmyNealStock7 for saving my story to your reading list it means the world to me! Also I just want to say another quick thank you to everyone who has been reading my story and for the support this story is getting. Also I can't believe that I have only 4 parts out right now and I already have 58 reads! That's all I wanted to say so, enjoy the story!

I look up at the sky and I see that the sun is starting to set and the moon is getting brighter. I look around me really quickly and I use my quirk multi-eye to check the house and see if Cade and Jay are home yet. I see that they are both home and that they are starting on dinner, I silently apologize to them for being late since all of us leadership people had to stay so we could start planning for our first dance and other activities. I deactivate my quirk and I start on my way home. I was almost home when I had started to think of today. It wasn't to bad I figured out my Homeroom teacher is a goofball and he messes around a lot. While randomly thinking over my day I finally get to my interactions with Bakugo today.'He's not to bad now that I think of it,' I think silently to myself. 'He's not to bad looking either,' I silently blushed at the thought of him. "Oooo, who are you thinking of. What unlucky guy do you have a crush on?"I look up and see Cade standing in front of the door. "Shut up Cade! Now, where is my little ray of sunshine?" I say shoving past Cade "Hey!"I heard Cade yell behind me, but I pay no attention to him as I am too exited to see my little Jay. "Cade!!! When will mama be here? I want mama!" I heard Jay cry from his room and silently I walk to his room and I run up to Jay and start tickling him. "Haha! Mama that tickles! Stop!" I keep tickling him and I start laughing. I hear laughing from the door way and I hear Jay yell "Onii-San! Help me! Make mama stop!" Cade laughs at Jay and I decide to stop. "C'mon you two, I gotta go make dinner." Cade steps in front of me and says "don't sweat it little sister I got it!" I look at him suspiciously and say "You didn't burn down the kitchen right?" "Hey, have a little more faith in me! I'm going to school to be a chief remember? I made Miso soup." I smile knowing I won't have to cook dinner today, while walking forward Cade grabs my arm to stop me. "Hey Jay,I gotta talk to your mama can you go to the bathroom and wash up?" Jay looks up at us and gives us a little nod and runs of to wash his hands. "What's wrong Cade? You're looking a little pale there." Cade silently hands me a letter and and says quietly "mom passed away about a month ago, dad want us to go to her funeral. They keep asking a bunch of questions about Jay to and I don't know why." I quickly snatch up the letter and read through it. "How do they know our address, we never told them. And why would they want US out of all people at HER funeral." Cade says in a quiet voice barely audible, " I don't know, but I'm scarred that they are going to try and take Jay back." I look up from the letter and see that Cade has tears in his eyes. "Cadence Daniel Kuiroshi, I swear on my dying breath that I will never let them take Jay back and that we will find a way to keep Jay with us O.K?" Cade finally looks at me and gives me a small smile "you promise?" "I promise" We both smile as we do a pinky promise and then we hear Jay yell "Onii-San! Mama! Hurry up,the food will get cold!" We both look at each other and we laugh while silently walking to Jay.

               -Time skip cause I don't want this chapter to be just about Cade, Jay, and Y/n (sorry guys)-

It's the next morning and like usual i hop on the bus, but this time when I hop on the bus I decide that I won't be a pain in the ass and give the seat to Bakugo. We start moving and like usual I get bored and play some random ass game and wait for me to get to school. We stop like usual on the next stop and I see Bakugo, looking as grumpy as ever, walk onto the bus and I see a look of surprise wave over his face. He quickly hides his surprise and goes back to being his usual grumpy old man self. While looking away from him I say in a bored tone, "what's U.A like? I've heard stories that it's really good and it's really hard to get in." He quietly huffs and says, "Eh it's pretty good. And it's hella hard to get in. Why do want to know? What don't tell me you tried applying and you didn't get in." He chuckles while looking my way. I look at him with ab board expression and simply states, "I'm just curious. And even if I did try, which I didn't, I don't have a good quirk and I wouldn't have enough money for it. I would prefer using that kind of money towards my brothers' schooling." "Why? Your parents don't make enough to put you guys through schooling." "No, my older brother barely make enough money to put the 3 of us through schooling, and I barely make enough to give us groceries." Bakugo looks at me with surprise, "Do your parents not work?" "I don't know what my parents do, and frankly I don't give a fuck about how their lives are going, they are shitty and I wish I didn't have to see them again." I look away from him and quietly add, "never mention my parents again." For  the rest of the ride we had stayed quiet. The bus had come to my stop and I was getting up to leave, but Bakugo had grabbed my sleeve "If you ever need some money or help just let me know. My parents are pretty stable and they always tell me to tell my friends if they ever need help they will." I quickly look at bakugo and I see a slight pink color to his cheeks.I smile at him and say in a soft tone, "thank you." "I haven't even done anything why are you thanking me?" "Because you are offering me help and.... You offered to be my friend." I looked at him and smiled and walked off the bus. 'I guess this year won't be too shitty.

Btw I'm sorry for updating kind of late in the day summer vacation just started for me and while my brothers are lounging around I've been cleaning the house so sorry if this seems kind of rushed cause I finished it right now. Also, I just broke my usual computer so in a state of hurry I grabbed my old computer that I used to use like years ago so sorry if there is grammar mistakes or anything cause I am still getting used to this. So I hope you enjoyed this chapter also sorry if this chapter is mostly about cadence and Jayelyn I just thought because in the other chapter I didn't talk about them too much that it would be nice to talk about them a bit.
