it had been a week since me and bill started the project. ive been coming over to his house and honestly, its almost done. we did a dna model, it looks great and all we have left to do it label everything.
a sharp pain hits my finger and i realize what ive done. i wince in pain as i hold my finger. "june what happened?" bill says, startled. "just some hot glue, im okay."
bill takes my hand and looks at my finger, "lets put a bandaid on it so you dont hurt it even more."
weve been working in his garage so we head inside his house to his bathroom upstairs. he opens the door and i sit on the toilet cover while he rummages through his cabinet until he finally finds the first aid kit, placing it on the counter.
bill gently grabs my hand and bandages my finger. i would be lying if i said i dont have butterflies right now. he mumbles something under his breath. "whatd you say?" bills breath hitched, "uh.. you have really pretty nails."
my cheeks flush pink, thats so specific. "thank you bill." he smiles and finishes. i stand up and give him a hug just for caring. he breaks the embrace, "do you wanna just chill in my room for a bit? weve been working nonstop for hours already."
i smile and nod, "that sounds nice," we make our way down the hallway, "ive never seen your room before im excited!" bill laughs. "its nothing special"
once were at the end of the hallway, bill opens a door. im greeted by a radio playing green day quietly in the corner of his room, black bed sheets and so many posters. it suits him. bill cleans off his bed, "wow bill, it looks nice in here."
he quickly turns around, "really? thanks. you can sit on my bed.. if you want. maybe we could watch a movie or something, my cds are on that bookshelf, or-or tom has some in his room." he stuttered but its cute.
"what movies does tom have?" i say while making my way over to his bed. i sit and scoot towards the wall.
he immediately gets up and inhales, "ill go check."
he rushes out the room and i twiddle with my fingers until he finally gets back. he opens the door and wow, ive never gotten a good look at his.. build before.
"ive got .." bills rants but i completely zone out.
hes so tall and slim its so attractive, his hair falls perfectly on his face and his arms are so pretty.
"june? hello? earth to june..." he waves his hand and i snap out of it, "sorry i was um- thinking of a movie. could you repeat the options again?"
bills laughs, "of course i can, we have-"

we had been watching american psycho for about an hour already. i check my phone, 3:49.
"i gotta leave by 5 and its already 3:49, do you wanna work on it tomorrow as well?"
"well," bill clears his throat, "maybe we could actually just hang out instead? only if you want to.. i dont know what im saying i-"
i laugh, "that sounds nice." i flash him and smile and he smiles back. "we could watch more movies!" i say.
ive never clicked with someone so fast before. bill is such a good friend i cant tell what i feel towards him.
