we arrive at the carnival in my car and we immediately hop out after parking. i sigh, "it got cold FAST. just a few days ago i was wearing shorts and a tank top out."
bill laughs, "good thing you brought that jacket."
we both laugh and walk to the entrance. bill kindly offers to pay for our wristbands and im basically peeing my pants over him right now. what a sweetheart.
i thank bill over and over again until finally he suggests we get on those super tall swings. "ive always been scared of heights growing up but ill make an exception."
my mind goes to the WORST things imaginable. i mean, how could this ass ride be stable?!
"i promise youll be fine june." bill smiles warmly at me and its almost enough to melt the redness on my nose.
deciding to be bold, i grab his hand tightly as we walk to the ride.
luckily there was no line and we got on pretty fast. its a two seater swing so we sit together and i grip onto bills sweater.
the swings begin to start moving. "what if i die bill, this is gonna be it for me" im sweating at this point and bill just laughs at me. "theyre gonna have to pry you off of me then."
i laugh, without even realizing were already at the top. looking down, its not even that bad! im such a pussy what the fuck.
i turn over to look at bill to see hes already looking at me. his smile is so warm, how could i help myself? i lean in to kiss his cheek.
his cheeks turn red and he laughs a little as the swings slowly go down.

june kissed me. well, she kissed my cheek but thats still something. im trying so hard to play it cool. ive been putting on a front and trying to pretend like im not crazy obsessed with her.
"wanna ride the ferris wheel?" june smiles wide at me. shes such a sweet girl and id do anything for her. "of course." i take her hand and she giggles quietly.
on the way to the ferris wheel she spots a small booth for a ring toss and runs to it excitedly. "billll.." she says, in a sing song voice, "win me something!!"
i laugh and nod before giving the stand runner €2 for 5 rings. "2 rings on 2 bottles is a large prize!"
i throw them and of course, 2 lands on one bottle while the other 3 scattered. but i cant give up on june. "its alright bill, lets go-"
i give the runner 2 more euros and he hands me the rings. carefully, i throw them and i finally make it. i throw my hands in the air and june jumps. "we have a winner! you can either get the giant bear or the giant pikachu."
"i want the bear!" june is so fucking adorable i cant do this anymore.

finally we get on the ferris wheel after waiting in line for so long. its a slow one but sadly, any time spent with june goes by so fast.
"i really like hanging out with you bill."
the sun is slowly setting as i look over at her.
"i really like hanging out with you too june."
she smiles and slowly leans in. and then, she kissed me.
