~Y/N's POV~
Loki Laufeyson. The trickster god of Asgard. People hated him, but I don't. He was controlled by Thanos to attack Earth, so you can't blame him for that. If Odin would've been more like an actual father, none of it would've happened.
I could know. Why? I've been his best friend ever since we were kids. I later joined the Asgardian army with my sister, Sif. I was assigned as the personal guard of Loki. I think Odin didn't trust him once he could walk. I still let him pull pranks, if not, he would've gotten right back at me. I wouldn't make that mistake twice. No, I won't tell you what happened.
After Loki faked his second death and returned, I realised I was in love with him. You only know you love something when you lose it, I guess. I was angry when he turned out to be disguised as Odin and I might or might not have slapped him across the face. Don't judge me, I was angry, alright!
I kept my love for him secret for a few years, but then he confessed first. We started dating. Thor later promoted my fighting skills with the Avengers and somehow they accepted me. I got them to allow Loki as my sidekick, but they still kept an eye on him.
Our life was great until a certain moment.
Loki and I were just chilling in our room in the Compound when the building got attacked. Many bombs went off and the whole building collapsed. I could feel Loki's hand next to me while we were both beneath the rubble.
"Y/N, are you okay?" he asked.
"Fuck... I-I think so", I answered. The pressure of the things on my chest made it hard to breathe.
"We're going to get out of here, Y/N, I promise. Just stay calm and talk to me."
I nodded. For the first time in life I felt terrified. "What if they don't find us, Loki?"
"Don't overthink, darling. They will find us, I'm sure they will. Talk to me. Tell me some of your future plans you always had."
"I... I want a house like Clint's... Far away from the city... In the fields... No kids... I want it to be just us... I always wanted a cat... A black one with green eyes..."
"Why specifically that one?"
"It reminds me of you... I don't know a name, though..."
"Any other pets?"
"No... Just us and the cat..."
"You got more?"
"We'd have a place to teleport to Asgard, so Heimdall doesn't fuck up our lawn... And a room where you can practise your magic and I can practise fighting..."
"That's nice..."
I was about to tell more when I heard familiar voices who were shouting mine and Loki's name.
"C'mon, Y/N, we gotta warn them we're here", Loki told me.
"Over here! Guys, we're here!"
"Y/N?" That's Cap. "Here! I found them guys!"
Steve pulled the rubble off me with his super strength and helped me up, while Thor got Loki out. He was worse injured than me and they brought him to the medic.

Bruce says it was a hallucination, Tony says he conjured an illusion right before he died, Thor says his soul stayed behind a bit to make sure I stayed alive before going to Valhalla. One thing is sure, though, that one stupid piece of rubble that hit his head killed him instantly. He could've never been talking to me.
We buried him on Earth, with his daggers and helmet. Thor stayed my my side the whole time. Even afterwards, when I was crying infront of his grave.
···· 2 years later ····
I walk to Loki's grave and place a black rose on it. His favorite flower. I picked one from his garden on Asgard.
"Hey, darling... It's been awhile... I miss you, I really do. I got the house I told you about. It's beautiful, I'm sure you would've loved it. I also got the cat. I called him Loki, after you. He's very mischievous, a lot like you. He almost broke my favorite mug yesterday. Luckily the Spider-kid was at my place and caught it. The others visit me often. Thor too. We tell eachother stories about you and end up crying and laughing at the same time... I love you. I don't think I'll ever love anyone else."
Told you I'd include angst.
I cried while making this, so I know you will too. Sorry for that.
*pats shoulder to comfort* There, there.
