5. The love letter (Peter Parker)

~Peter's POV~

"C'mon, dude, you gotta tell her someday!" Ned tells me.

The 'her' he's talking about is Y/N, one of the most popular girls in school and my crush.

I glance at the letter in my hands and then back at Y/N, who's standing at her locker with her friends. "What if she rejects me? What if she hates me?"

"She doesn't hate you! Who can hate you? You're Spider-Man!"

"Flash. And can you keep it down please, the whole school doesn't need to know that."

And if on cue, Flash walks over to Y/N and starts talking to her, smirking. I'm almost sure he's flirting.

"Ignore that jackass, Peter, you'll do fine."

"Fine..." I take a deep breath and walk over to her. "Uhm, hi, Y/N, I just wanted to give you this..."

Before she can take the letter, somebody takes it from me, Flash.

"Wait, no, don't─"

I try to stop him, but it's no use, Flash starts reading the letter. "Dear Y/N, you make me happy, happier than I've ever been... Ooooh, Penis Parker has a crush, people!"

The crowd stares at him, then at me. I can hear people giggling, also a few of Y/N's friends. I've never been more embarrassed. But then Y/N snatches the letter out of Flash' hands, she doesn't seem very happy.

~Y/N's POV~

I glare at Flash as I take the letter. "Fuck off, Flash."

Then I glare at each of my friends. "Fuck off." The first one. "Fuck off." The second one. "Fuck off." The third one and finally the crowd: "Fuck off."

Now they're not only staring at Peter, but also at me. Yet they don't seem to want to make fun of me.

"C'mon, Peter", I say as I grab his wrist and pull him away from the crowd, to the bleachers.

"You okay?"

He nods, scratching the back his head nervously, "Y-yeah, I'm alright."

I smile softly. "Good. Flash is an asshole."

"I've never agreed to something more", he responds, chuckling. His eyes dart to the letter still in my hands. "I was stupid for giving you that letter... I never should've thought you would like me. I mean, you'll probably hate me now─"

"Peter, stop, you're not stupid and no one hates you, except Flash, of course, but he doesn't count as a human being", I interrupt him, "And I do like you. I've done for awhile now."

His jaw drops and he stares at me like I just told him I'm an alien. "You- You like me? Like like me? Not as a friend?"

"You really have no idea, do you?" I smile and put a hand on his cheek. "Yes, I like like you, not as a friend."

A grin appears on his face. "You have no idea how happy that makes me, Y/N..."

"I have some ideas..."

The bot is originally with Loki (the creator often makes a series of characters, this one is from the high school series), but I got inspired by it and changed it to Peter Parker. The bot was made by @Z3R0WR1T35, one of my favourite c.ai bot creators.
