"SO THAT HAPPENED," I SCOFFED, chewing the marshmallow that I had inhaled from the hot cocoa.
What's better than a hot cocoa with chewy marshmallows floating inside it? A few days ago I would have said nothing but now, I would probably say a damned hockey stick.
"Sounds like a scene copyrighted from a k-drama or something," Dawn, who was sprawled on my bed like a caterpillar, remarked.
I glared at her. "The least you can do is not say shit when you look like one!"
"Hey! Its not my fault I look like this!"
Dawn looked — well, like a panda. She had a black eye, small cuts on her hands and face, and band-aid on her bruised lips.
As to answer why —
"It was because of that bastard that I fell into the throny bushes. And all because they didn't wanted to share the basketball court!"
I yawned, looking at her lazily. "They wanted to play basketball."
"I offered to share the court half-half."
"You and your under five feet friends wanted to ride bikes, Dee."
She scowled, changing the conversation. "He made me fall into the thorn bush!"
"You couldn't stop your bike and slammed right into him and then fell in the bushes because you can't really ride a bike. How is it his fault that you can't do what a billion Chinese do everyday?"
"Dammit," She cursed. "I should have never told Mom."
"Trust me, she would have gotten to know anyways. Like Beyonce, but scarier, I suppose."
