Bound For Pain / Jeonghan / Seventeen

Part-4

Jia POV:

Yoon Jeonghan was very playful, he made sure that I was comfortable around him and I can't thank him enough.

Even though there is a crack in my heart that I can't expose myself to him but I ignored all the pain. Me and my wolf took a decision.

We know that we don't stand a chance to be with us mate, so we decided to spend a little time with him before telling him the truth. I know we will end things in a painful way but..

No Jia get a grip, just spend a quality of time with him. It's now or never.
I know it sounds selfish, but all my life I was living only in dark and now there is a little candle lighting a flame. I kept my thoughts aside when I felt a hand griping my wrist.

"You alright" I faced him and nodded.

"Now we arrived at the destination and it is a forest?"  He said in disbelief, yeah well it is a forest. I just nodded.

"What are we gonna do here? Play hide and seek maybe?" He joked and I joined in.

"That's sound nice, we have a ton of space here, we can play all night"
I said seriously.

"I can easily cheat and win" he whispered to himself, but boy I have an hearring sense of a wolf.

"You cheat and win" I laughed and his face flushed in embarrassment.

"Actually jeonghan we have to go to the edge of the forest, we can go in car also just take left and there will be a road follow it" I said and he followed my instructions without any doubts.

Time skip:

Do you know the meaning of dangerously beautiful? Well it is finding beauty in danger. For me the view in front of me is really dangerously beautiful. The edge of the forest is the most beautiful and peaceful place for me.

Well in this part of the forest there is no wild animals. To be more clear the animal will be in the other side of the forest. I sat down on the bench and looked at Jeonghan. He scanned the total place, maybe looking for danger?.

I tugged his wrist and finally he shifted his eyes to mine. I motioned him to sit down next to me. Then we sat the for some minutes, not talking just feeling our present and accepting the fact that now we are mates.

"How there is a bench in a forest?" He asked totally surprised.

"Actually a woman lived here, her house is there" I pointed to our left side, where a small house rested a little far.

I noticed his eyes go wide and he was sure bewildered.

"How can a human live here?" He asked.

"She was a werewolf" he was speechless

"It's banned for werewolves to live in human land"  he stated his voice full of authority.

I shivered in his tone just now he was goofy why did he suddenly became this timid.

"I a-actually don't know, why" I said trying to hide the fact that I was affected by his tone.

"I should bring this as an complain" he practically was now talking to him.

"But how come you are on human land?"

Now it is my turn to go all speechless.
He is sure smart and noticed all these things even in this situation.
Should I be happy that I got a brainy mate or should I cry that now I am gonna be exposed?.

"I actually study in human College"
He nodded

"It's rare but ,okay. You live in pack only right?"

My heart thumped too fast and I swear he could also hear it.

No Jia don't do it ,no no please but..

"Yea" I said and he smiled at me.

"If you don't mind me asking when will you come to visit my pack and my family?"

"Jeonghan, I really don't know but I will surely do it when the time comes"

He didn't continue further on this topic cause I was feeling a bit uneasy.

"Enough of this tell me about your family

"I only have my little sister and about my parents" I left a long pause trying to gather some words and courage but all I gathered was stupid tears.

"T-they were dead when I was young"

I felt a warm hands over my wrist. I looked at him, he gave me a sweet smile. And he pulled me into a side hug, and I rested my head onto of his shoulder finding comfort in them.

"It's okay, everything will be alright"

Well how do I tell him that I lost all hope when I saw him. Jeonghan you are too precious to be broken. I felt like I wanna be by his side and always protect him.

"Now end of all this drama, tell me about your life" he instantly smiled.

"My family is huge, I have 12 brothers and my granny and grandpa. Well I am second oldest in my brother line, so sure I have lot of responsibility. Well there is Ara also she is Seungcheol's mate."

"Your family sounds lovely, but what about your parents?" I was too curious.

"Same as your story, they are dead when I was 13." He said his voice carried pain.

"How?"

"One day there was a rouge attack and my parents were brutally killed by them.
The most painful part was that the rouge that killed my parents made me watch them die, I felt so powerless that time."

I was left shocked, he was so broken but how could he smile like that. From this I can surely tell that the people that smile the most has the heart breaking story hidden behind every smile.

We were quite for some more time, but later we were just staring each other.
I felt his eyes checking out my lips and then meeting my gaze. I leaned in not giving a second thought about our situation.

He leaned in too and boom he captured my lips, and our lips were so in sync.
It felt almost magical, we were inside the forest with moonlight falling on us as th cold breeze brushed our skin.
It gave me goosebumps as my heart rate picked up.

We pulled out for some moments but we attached our forehead together.
I smiled into this gesture, for wolf's to connect their forehead means pure love.

But I didn't ignore the fact that....
This will all end soon.
