Part-16

Jeonghan POV:

Work eat sleep these three had become my routine. The routine that I am doing in order to distract myself. All the people around noticed the change in my behavior. Cause I am not the one to work.

I liked to sneak out and have fun but nowadays I am just locked inside the place work space and the training field.

I was just checking on some agreement papers when I heard a knock.

I just gave a loud 'come in' and I looked up to see who was that. Mingyu was there, he looked at me and I remembered that I was the one who called him.

"Mingyu I need a favor"

Mingyu looked confused but just nodded his head. I got a bag that was beside my chair. I gave the bag to Mingyu who was still confused but just accepted it.

"Take this to a forest that I have told you before, you remember it right?"

I spoke still busy in checking and correcting those papers.

"The one where you will meet Jia"

I signed and closed my eyes while gripping on the pen tight.

"Hyung I didn't mean it" I just nodded and didn't paid any attention.

"I want you to keep this bag in the forest, but you have to go deeper Mingyu."

I began and told him how to reach the mysterious house that is on the forest.

"If you don't mind what is inside the bag hyung?" Mingyu asked with curiosity while I just replied casually.

"Just some of her dress" Mingyu just nodded and left the place while I left the pen that was in my hand. And leaned against the chair while massaging my forehead.

A week passed since that event occurred, I may look every casual about it but inside I know I am still in need of her. I have been trying to move on but you know it is just not that easy to do.

Is she alright? She is also thinking about me like I do? These questions keeps bugging inside me and I'm not gonna refuse that I'm still in love with her.

But I promised myself that I will eventually forget it and move on with the world. Well we all live like that right?? Losing something we get and getting adapted to our normal life without it?.

My wolf shouts at me everyday that I should still accept my mate with her flaws. But I know it is not possible, not possible in our world. There is some laws by with we live.

If the werewolf committee got to know that Jia lives in human land disguised as a human they will execute her. Even as a prince I can't stop that.

So I thought leaving her is safe than being around her and getting her into the dangers. That was the main reason why I left her.

And as a prince I have to stay loyal to my kingdom and do my duty rightful even if it comes in matters to my mate.

I have responsibilities to do. I was thinking about this and was trying to comfort myself by thinking me and Jia had no way to be with one and another.

But suddenly I heard some sound and I opened my eyes to see seungcheol sitting infront of me. I raised my brow.

"When you entered?" I asked but he stayed silent and he looked some kind of angry?.

"What happened? Something wrong?"

"The werewolf committee is hiding something from us"  Seungcheol said and was fidgeting with the pen that is in her hand.

"Us means?"

"From the 13 of us?" Seungcheol said and this made me think and get worried.

"Someone is threatening the kingdom or some kind of war is going between the packs of others?" I said and Seungcheol was still fidgeting the pen and was looked still frustrated.

"But they should have let us know right? Rightfully we should also attend the meeting right?" Seungcheol said and I just agreed.

"We are going to take the throne in just a year and they are not even letting us to know about our kingdom ongoing problems?"

"Cheol you need to calm down. You think grandpa is doing this without any reasons?"

"Han ah this is actually very important meeting"

"How are you saying that?"

"Cause in that meeting only grandpa and the ministries are present. No others are there. This itself means that the meeting is very confidential"

Seungcheol explained and my curiosity took a ride inside my head.

"That important?" I whispered to myself and Seungcheol stood up. I looked at him but he didn't said anything and just went near the exist door.

"Where are you going?" I asked him.

"For a run my head hurts a lot thinking about this and I need to release some of my stress."

"Be careful and don't go too close to the border line cheol" Seungcheol just nodded and left the place.

I was still in curiosity and was worried. Someone's is causing us threat or something? Grandpa will never hide something that is important relating to the kingdom against us.

My thoughts fell into it and I just shook my head and began my work.

Time skip:

It was late in the night and I just got out of my bathroom after finishing my night routine. I was surprised to see Mingyu sitting on the bed, he looked blank.

"Mingyu?" He looked up to me upon hearing my voice. Then only I noticed the fury in his eyes.

"What happened?" I asked cautiously.

"I met my mate and..."

"And?" I said and he continued surprising me.

"I rejected her....."
