Jeonghan POV:

5 months passed:
(sorry for skipping time like this)

Jia's birthday is on next month, and I have prepared her lots of surprises.
I was now on the battle field fighting with Joshua, moreover we are just tapping each other. But when our trainer comes near us we both act like we are fighting.

Tonight I will go and meet Jia, she is always the key for me to escape from this world and live in the world that I have built inside my head. A small smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

"What are you thinking?" Joshua asked me with questionable eyes.

"Nothing too serious" I replied casually and heard our instructor shouting to go for a break. I just went to a bench Joshua followed me as we both sat next to each other. Joshua laid his head on my lap as I was just thinking about Jia's surprise plan.

"Nowadays I notice at night you are going out somewhere"

"Yea to meet he- WHAT?" I suddenly became stiff and I gained some attentionbecause of the shouting.

"Anything wrong hyung?" Seokmin asked me, he was laying on the field and top of him seungkwan and sooyoung laid on him. He was struggling to get out, but now his eyes mirrored worries because of my shouting.

"Nothing DK we were just talking and I suddenly pinched him that's why"
Joshua explained and everyone started to do their work.

"When did you see me?" I asked Joshua and he thought for a while before answering.

"Yesterday night, day before yesterday and maybe tonight too" Joshua said with a teasing smile, and I got up and in the process Joshua fell down cause he was laying on my lap.

"Hey wait"  Joshua followed me laughing and wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"So who were you meeting?" Joshua asked and I looked at him and answered with a small smile.

"You will meet the person soon shua"
I said and started walking but fell down, I frowned but soon noticed that Joshua was the one who tripped me by keeping his feet in my way. I shot him a glare.

"Karma is real you know" he said with chuckle and started making his way towards Vernon. He was sure a devil in disguise.

"Yah you fuck-" and our rest of the day went like this, we spent all of our time laughing and pranking Mingyu, and soon the night arrived and I made sure that Joshua didn't saw me while I sneak out.

Time skip:

I arrived at the forest and immediately my wolf was shouting and screaming at me inside my head. He was not telling any reason, the only word he told was mate. I think he sensed our mate is danger? I wasted no time and ran to the house.

I can feel the aura of our mate but it is different a lot different this time. As I went near the house, suddenly the door was swung open. Jia stood there weak and trembling she was hanging on the door knob for support.

It was like she would collapse any time, I was dumbfounded but she raised her head and looked at me, tears were stained in her beautiful face. My heart clenched in pain looking at her like that.

But soon a overpowering sweet smell hit my nostril, I was taken aback by that scent. Soon I realized she was on heat, shit I should have known this.

Me and Jia didn't finish the mating process fully yet and marking her was just 50%. Marking her only would influence her heat, I should have warned her about this fuck.

And I took some steps towards her and I heard her whispers. She raised her head again weakly and our eyes were locked with each other. I felt the need to claim her right there and now, but I held back the need. But Jia said something that broke all the shield that I have held around me...

"Jeonghan p-please I need you now"
