Chapter 7 : Trip to Kyoto

Wei Xiao was accompanying Xu Tianci and his father to several meetings with the designer, and they were finalizing the design plan. They were also planning a trip to Kansai.

After Friday classes, Xu Tianci gathers everyone at school, and they take the Shinkansen together to Kyoto. When they arrive in Kyoto around 8 PM, they book a hotel near the station. After dropping their luggage, they go to find food nearby.

"We visit Fushimi Inari Taisha in the morning, go to Arashiyama in the afternoon, and stay at a hot spring hotel near Arashiyama in the evening. The next morning, we take a small train up the mountain and return to Tokyo in the afternoon, just in time for Monday classes without any delay."

She couldn't catch up with him, stood at the venue entrance feeling frustrated. Volunteers came out, mentioning they found a wallet. When she checked the ID in the wallet, it belonged to Shi Yuquan. She volunteered to return it to him.

Calling the number on the business card inside the wallet, she eventually reached Shi Yuquan. He told her to take all the cash, send the wallet, ID, and credit cards to his home. Without much thought, she took a bus to the address he provided.

City A's summer wasn't too hot, especially at night, even considered cool. In the lobby of that apartment building, waiting until eleven o'clock, Shi Yuquan saw her but didn't even say a thank you. He took the wallet and left without a word.

She was extremely angry at the time, but when confronted, she said indifferently, "I didn't ask you to come."
