First two chapters will be from the original hands of time book, just altered to fit the story. (Totally not because I don't wanna rewrite them and I'm unoriginal.) Instead, No sad Acronix flashbacks, now it's feral psycho Acronix flashbacks. Krux flashbacks? Same way. Ninja parts will remain mostly the same with the subtraction of Bruise shipping. This story may be more graphic than the other as well so be forwarned. Thank you all for your support and I hope you enjoy this story.
Wu looked to the sky as the vortex rumbled above him. He stood from his previously seated position and backed away from the center of it.
A figure came down in a bright beam of green and blue lightning, landing perfectly in a knelt stance with one hand on the ground and the other inches above it.
He pushed himself up and blinked a few times. A rabbit had frozen in place, watching the man closely. He chuckled and stamped a foot on the ground. That seemed to startle the creature back to its fight or flight state, do bunnies even have a fight state? Either way, it chose to run.
The man's gold eyes watched the animal jump away toward part of the mountain where, he knew, no land woukd be below, not for a few miles at least.
He cracked a smile and chuckled deeply as it went over the side.
"Right on time."
"What?" He turned quickly, placing his hand on a concealed blade. The voice had startled him.
"Long time no see." The voice spoke again.
"Wu?" He turned toward the old male. "You look," he paused, "old. As if you best days have passed." He did a quick 360. The place he use to call home had been burnt, for lack of better words, to a crisp. "Not unlike your monastery."
He made eye contact with Wu once again.
"I can assure you, I still have many days ahead of me." Wu responded. "So shall we finish what we started? I've been waiting decades."
"Really. Doesn't feel that long to me." He slowly pulled his dagger out of it's sheath.
"This ends now." Wu responded.
The ninja were moving around a lot of rubble as they had in the days prior.
"This ends now, Samukai." Jay held the fake skull in his hands. "Nope. Doesn't feel real enough.""You want it to be real again?" Lloyd asked.
"Ya know. Dareth should really be here heling us. We all heard his story of the stone warriors doing his bidding and saving his life right?" Jay asked his friends.
"Yeah. But we are all kind of to blame." Lloyd began. "If we didn't have that battle on the day of the departed, none of this would be messed up."
Jay cleared his throat loudly. "And whose fault is that, Cole?" He directed his attention to the earth master.
Cole sighed, he still wasn't use to being human again. He didn't eat for about a week after his mortal body had returned. He had been so thirsty, he never realized he could be so thirsty.
"How many times do I have to apologize about unleashing the ghostly forces of our past foes on the world?"
"Depends on how high you can count." Jay responded snarkily.
