Krux couldn't help it when he passed the small TV he had in the lab. The news was covering the damage the master of earth was doing, to both the city and the other ninja.

Acronix scoffed as he saw his brother sitting in front of the device. "Okay then, Mr.-I-Secretly-Don't-Hate-Technology- even-though-it's-spawned-from-hell."

"You only instructed him not to kill the blue one, didn't you?" Krux asked softly.

"The others were an after thought." Acronix snorted. "Just like the pain we endured after Wu took our power. He didn't care about how empty that would make us feel."

Krux ignored his brothers comments about Wu as Zanes damage popped up on screen. "You didn't leave any room for error did you?"

"Not that I know of. It'll take them weeks to fix that thing. And at the rate Borgs moving, it'll take us until after then to get out of this tech-infested world." Acronix snapped toward the inventor.

Borg looked up at the man, his hands shaking from the lack of meds, and the sheer anxiety he felt.

"Did I say you could look at me?!" Acronix snapped again.

Borg gasped and dropped his screwdriver, fumbling it before it fell to the ground below his chair. He froze, as much as he could when his whole body was shaking.

"Gods be damned, you idiot!" Acronix stalked over to the man and picked up the tool before slamming it on the desk. "Keep working, we have a deadline."

Borgs sniffle could barely be heard through his shakey breaths. He'd rather the overlord take his body again than go through whatever hell this was. He wanted to just burst into tears but didn't let himself.

"You can cry Borg, just keep working." Krux's voice caught his attention, but he dare not look up again. Instead he began to silently sob while he continued working. "I'll try to convince him that the worse your mental state, the longer he'll have to wait."

Borg muttered a soft thank you, he wasn't sure if Krux had been able to hear it or not. Either way, the elder twin left Borg with the vermillion guard and went after his brother.

Krux went on the path his brother had taken and met up with the young twin and one of the vermillion commanders he'd created.

"You didn't tell me you had a type brother." Acronix turned, having felt his twins presence. "She's really something."

Krux sighed. "She's the general. She has to be something."

"Did she have to be so," Acronix used his hands to mimic the curves she had on his own body. "Voluminous? Brother you truly have a gift."

"She was composed of female vermillion and this is the form they took. I had nothing to do with it."

"Sure. I bet the two male generals chose to have big dicks." Acronix snickered. "What's the status of 'party big' general Machia?"

"'Party big'? What on earth is that?" Krux asked.

"Your plan names sucked." Acronix snorted. "'Party big' is 'collect the builders'," he pulled Krux's plan book from his side satchel, flipping through the pages. 'Play your part', really? That is now, 'fool them all'."

Krux rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"'Pit them against each other' is now 'Dark magic' in homage to Clouse and his wonders. 'Get metal for Iron Doom, weapons, and armor'? Could that be any longer?"

"I'm sure it could be, what is it now?" Krux grumbled.

"'Operation heavy metal'." Acronix smirked. "We could send a squadron out while those ninja are preoccupied with their cursed friend." He suggested.
