Though the state religion of the Empire of Tamriel remains the Imperial Cult of the Nine Divines, a dizzying number of militant sects exist within the Imperial Legion itself. This will not be a surprise to any student of legionary culture, comprised as it is from races and cultures from all across the continent. What makes legionary faith so unique is the way in which legionaries pick up gods and religions as readily as debutantes pick up on the latest fashions. The most widely accepted religion within the Legion is, naturally, the Imperial Cult, a trend fostered by the close relationship between the Imperial Legion and the Imperial Mission.
