Harry's P.O.V
According to Nevile, Gillyweed is supposed to help me to breathe underwater. We, along with others, were on our way through the woods to get to the Black Lake.
"Potter! Potter!" Malfoy's voice shouted. I turned and saw him running up towards us. What does he want now? I'm already nervous as it is! Him and his goons catched up to Nevile and I, only a few feet away.
"Where is she?" He rudely demanded.
"Who are you talking about? I don't have time for this, Malfoy." I responded tiredly.
"Oh! Suddenly you don't care about Penny's whereabouts? Such a good friend you are." He said and went off with the rest. Did I hear that right? Was Penny missing?
"Wait! What happened to her?" I asked him to catch up to him, still heading to the lake. All the anger I was building up had gone straight away now that Penny was brought up.
"That's what I'd like to know! Cedric has been looking for her since she didn't come back to the dorms last night. Came to me asking if she was with me." He said and went off ahead, leaving Nevile and I behind.
Part of me is sort of glad she wasn't with Malfoy. But the bigger part of me can't help but worry. She didn't go back with Professor Mcgonagall? Did she even go? I shouldn't have left her alone when it was so late. How could I have been so stupid?
"Harry, we have to go." Neville reminded me. I looked at him then at the crowd that was forming up by the lake. I know I have to go, but Penny...
"Cedric is by the lake too." He mentioned. Guess he knew what I was thinking. "Maybe he found her or already figured out where she is."
"I hope so." I really hope so.

Making it to the Lake and at the stands with the rest of the champions, Dumbledore had announced that our treasures were taken from us. Mine was Ron since he's my best friend. Fleur's was her little sister, Krum's was Hermione. And for Cedric it was Penny who he had to save. Which now made sense why she and the others were missing. We had to save them from the merpeople.
I wanted to save Penny too, but the merpeople would let me get to her, only to Ron.
Fleur, however, never made it through. I was barely able to save Ron and the girl and sent them up through the water to get out. My Gillyweed was fading away my ability to breath and swim. So I casted a spell to fly me out of the water fast. I surprisingly made it to the docks. I was coughing up so much water. I didn't even realize I was shivering from the cold until someone wrapped towels around me. The person stayed near me, helping me feel warm. It felt familiar. I looked up, and even though my glasses were still wet from the water, I could still see who it was. It was Penny.

I was catching my breath once we swam up to the surface. I was being carried by Cedric back to the docks. I was never a good swimmer.
"Don't worry, sis. I've got you." I heard Cedric say as we made it closer. I was then pulled up by so many hands. They were mostly part of Cedric's group of friends. Finally feeling something sturdy under me, I opened my eyes. Cedric was completely drenched, but he continued to wrap towels all over me.
"I need more! Get me more!" He repeated. But I took one towel off me and tried to force it on him.
"Cedric, I'm fine. You need one too!" I told him. If he doesn't get warm soon, he'll get really sick!
"If you get sick, papa will never let me hear the end of it." He responded.
"And if you get sick, you'll never hear the end of it from me!" He laughed at my reasoning. But did give in. Accepting the towel and another from a friend.
Krum and Hermione came shortly after us. I didn't see Harry or Ron anywhere. Fluer was here, but not her sister. And according to how Fluer keeps looking at the lake along with the rest of the girls, I guess her sister is still in there. Then there was splashing. It was Ron and the girl.
As they made their way to the docks, Hermione and I rushed over to help them.
"It's cold! It's bloody cold!" Ron complained. I 'm not surprised to hear him say that though.
"Ronald, are you alright?" Hermione asked him, as she handed him some towels.
"Where's Harry?" I also asked. Harry should have been with him.
"He pushed us up. Those creatures down there started to attack him." He explained. My eyes grew wide from shock.
"WHAT?!" Mione and I both shouted in fear. But before Ron said anything else, there was a huge noise from the water. Then a big splash of water blew up. A figure had flown out from it and landed very harshly near us on the dock. It was Harry!
I ran up towards him and took off some of the towels I had on me and placed them on him instead.
"Harry! Are you alright?" I asked worriedly asked him.
"What about you? Are you alright? You're soaking wet!" He asked looking straight at me
"As are you!" I reminded him.
"Doesn't matter." Before I could argue, he took a towel I still had, and firmly placed it around me. He kept me in his arms, holding me tight and warm. I felt safe. But I also sheepishly looked back to see him. His eyes had a spark in them.
Harry's p.o.v
I realized as we stood that my arms were still holding her close to me. And I had not stopped staring at her. I knew I had to stop, but I couldn't. I didn't want to.
"Harry! You behaved admirably!" I was quickly pulled away from Penny as Mione came up to us and hugged me. I was cut off guard and pulled away, trying to rethink again. Right, the challenge.
"I finished last, Hermione." I reminded her. It took me longer to figure things out. Unlike Cedric and Krum.
"Attention!" Dumbledore announced. Everyone grew quiet to hear the results. "The winner of the second task.... Cedric Diggory!" Many from our school cheered so loud. Penny was jumping with joy next to me. Even I was happy for Cedric. He did well.
Just when I was about to reach out to her hand, I saw her brother run up to her and pick her in his arms. Carrying her off with the rest as they celebrated.
