You followed closely behind Shouga.

He placed his hand on the sliding door to the training dojo, but hesitated before opening it.

His hand fell to his side as he turned back to you.

He sighed softly and spoke,

"Today's training will be something a little different, my love."

You tilted your head,

"Different?"

He nodded,

"Shiina baby..."

He went silent for a moment, as he tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear.

He was carefully choosing his next words.

"I know you'll do exactly as I say, so there's no reason to be nervous."

He then slid open the door.

And the sight before you made your eyes widened in horror.

There was a man tied up, with a gag in his mouth.

He was writhing around on the floor desperately trying to get out of the ties that were around his wrists and ankles, grunting and panting as he struggled violently against the constraints.

You felt Shouga's breath on your neck as he leaned over and whispered in your ear words that sent shivers to your spine,

"Shiina baby..."

"I need you to kill him for me."

Your eyes were wide and locked on the man who was grunting and desperately struggling on the floor.

You had fought and injured opponents badly.

But never had the thought ever crossed your mind.

I could kill another person with ease.

The wheels in your brain were turning.

This was a test from Shouga.

He wanted you to prove yourself.

And you wanted to prove yourself to him, desperately.

Show him you were worth saving.

Show him you were worthy of his time, worthy of being like him.

You could feel your hand trembling as you lifted it up and pointed it at the man whose squirms got even more desperate as he saw you raise a hand.
