One thing to know about Tate is that she is not a morning person. The girl could and would sleep for hours on end, so being up before noon was not something Tate liked at all. Before moving in with the Walters, she would always be late to school because she had slept in, but now, they would always find a way to wake her up. "Am I okay to come in?" Isaac asks on the other side of the door.
"Yeah" Jackie says, making Isaac walk into the room, to see Jackie ready for school and Tate still asleep. Normally, Isaac is the one to wake Tate up, since Tate is less likely to kill him if he does it. There was one time where Alex wanted to be the one to wake Tate up in the morning, and let's just say that Alex had never been more scared in his life after waking Tate up. "What's up?"
"Oh, just waking Tate up" Isaac says, before running over to Tate's bed, jumping on top of Tate.
"Get off of me" Tate mumbles, pushing Isaac off of her.
"Come on, we've got school" Isaac says to Tate "You've got to get ready, we're leaving in fifteen."
"I hate you, you know that, right?" Tate asks Isaac as she sits up.
"You love me and you know it" Isaac says with a laugh before leaving the room, making Tate get out of her bed, picking up the plain cropped white t-shirt and black joggers up that she had set out last night.
"How do you get up this late?" Jackie asks, since she is always up at least an hour before she has to leave for school.
"Because it doesn't take me that long to get ready" Tate explains while she is getting ready "I never put that much effort into looking decent for school because it's too early and I can't be bothered."
"What about breakfast?" Jackie asks.
"Lee or Isaac normally get me something to eat in the car" Tate says with a shrug as she goes to brush her teeth before walking downstairs to see that everyone else is ready to go "So, what do I have for breakfast today?" Tate asks Lee.
"A pop tart" Lee says, giving Tate the pop tart that he had just made for her.
"Yes!" Tate says happily, taking the pop tart from him "Love you, Lee!" She says before walking to get her bag before heading to the car.
"Um" Lee says, taken back by what Tate had said "That's weird."
"But you loved it though" Isaac says with a smile, seeing the interaction that they had had.
"Shut up" Lee mumbles to Isaac, knowing his brother would bring it up later to tease him. Sometimes Lee regretted telling Isaac about his crush on Tate, but that was mostly because Isaac would always find ways to annoy him about it.
"You're only telling me to shut up 'cause it's true" Isaac says with a smile before the two walk over to the car and wait outside of the car next to Tate.
"Come on, New York" Cole says to Jackie as he sees her walking out of the house "Get in."
"I don't really care about school, but we're going to be late" Isaac mentions as everyone starts getting into the car "And Tate can't be late, again."
