There she goes again Misa, winning three awards in a row. She's the girl I can't stop admiring, not just because she's gorgeous but because she's brilliant. It's like every competition she enters, she just wins, like it's nothing. Honestly, she's probably one of the smartest students in the entire country.

'Hey, Leo, what's going on with Jules?' My friend's voice snaps me out of my thoughts, but my mind's still on Misa. Jules is great, don't get me wrong, but she's not the one who's got my attention. Misa... she's all I can think about lately, even if we're not close.

Then Faith's voice brings me back to reality. 'Misa, are you even human?' she laughs, half in awe. 'Do you ever have any free time? How do you manage to come out on top in every single competition? Math, history... it's insane!'"

"Thanks, Faith,' Misa says, looking a little shy. 'Honestly, I have no idea how I keep winning. Maybe it's just luck, or maybe I've got some secret superpower. You know I barely study, right?'

They both laugh, and I feel that pang in my chest again. She doesn't know it, but I've had a crush on her for a while now. Watching her be amazing at everything she does just makes me like her even more."

As the principal's voice cuts through the hallway noise, ending our little gathering, I can't help but watch Misa as she effortlessly heads back to class.

'Hey, Leo, you coming?' Lorenzo elbows me, snapping me out of my Misa daze.

'Yeah, yeah, I'm coming,' I say, finally pulling my eyes away from her. We start walking through the crowd together.

'So, what's up with you and Jules?' Lorenzo asks, eyebrows raised. I roll my eyes and shake my head.

'Dude, not this again,' I groan, running a hand through my hair. 'I've told you a million times, we're just friends.'

Lorenzo laughs, giving me a playful nudge. 'Sure, man.'

As we turn the corner, I steal one last look at Misa, watching her blend into the crowd. She's something else. Maybe one day I'll actually get the guts to talk to her. But for now, I'll just admire her from a distance and wonder what it would be like to be part of her world.

Sitting in English class, my mind drifts far from the lesson, lost in thoughts of Misa's cute laugh and her beautiful smile. Next to me, Lorenzo and Jules are chatting away, but their voices fade into the background as I daydream.

Suddenly, I hear our teacher's voice cut through my thoughts. I look up to see her smiling at me. 'Leo! Can you share your thoughts on the book we're reading?'

Caught off guard, I blink a few times. 'Uh, sure! I think it's interesting how the main character struggles with...' I trail off, trying to remember what we were talking about.

'Struggles with what, exactly?' she asks, still smiling.

'Um, his identity? Yeah, that's it!' I say, trying to sound confident.

She laughs a little. 'Good point, Leo. You always have something smart to say!'

I smile awkwardly, feeling confused about why I'm suddenly the center of attention. I glance at Lorenzo, who looks just as puzzled as I am. I mean, a lot of students talk to her, so why is everyone looking at me?

I notice Jules watching us with a hint of jealousy, leaning over to whisper to the girls around her. I can feel her eyes on me, and it only adds to my confusion.

Just then, Lorenzo breaks the silence. 'Dude, the bell's gonna ring in ten seconds!'

I look around, realizing that everyone's been staring at me for way too long. I laugh a little, feeling the tension lift.I shake my head, trying to shake off the awkwardness, and wonder what's going on as we all prepare to leave class.
