Chapter 10

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨

"Hey Chas" Embry says walking in. "what" I said opening my eyes. "Dad wants to talk to you" He said pointing behind him. "Okay" I said sighing and getting up, he walked me up to the office and opened the door. Kai and Kahlil were in there as well. "Principessa. Sit down we need to have a conversation." I didn't say anything I just sat down. "about?" I said letting out a sigh before getting comfortable in the chair I was sitting in. "I want to talk about what just happened." Vincenzo said folding his hands on top of the desk. "Mmm" I said not really wanting to talk about it. "I know Carter can be mean at times but it's not okay for you too to be arguing like that and calling each other names. Especially in front of Tahj" "I don't want to talk about this in front of everyone" I said looking behind me at the boys. "Alright that's fine. Boys give us some privacy.". They murmured 'okay's' and walked out closing the door behind them. "You two need to work on getting along I'm not liking this behavior from either of you, I will be talking to him later and giving him his punishment. But for you, I want you phone on my desk, you won't be getting it back until the end of the week." "w-what? that's n-not fair he started w-with me" "principessa, I said what I said and that finale." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "rolling your eyes is just going to make it worse" "Whatever" I said under my breath. "I heard that, and I'm going to let it slide because we have something else to talk about." He said waiting a few seconds before continuing. "How was your life with your mom?" "it was okay" I said lying. "I want the truth principessa" he said sternly. "she never took g-good care of me or Tahj I was left to take care of us and the house because she was too busy getting h-high and intoxicated with William" Vincenzo's jaw clenched. "anything else?" he said trying to read my face. "t-they would h-hit me sometimes" he bawled his fists, and I looked at him fighting back tears. "that bitch" he said under his breath "did they hit Tahj too?" "n-no, I would never let them touch him. They've tried to but I'd step in front of them" "I'm so sorry principessa, I wish I was there for you and I wasn't. I'm so mad at myself. But she told me that she lost the baby and then ran away." He said sighing putting his head in his hands. We sat in silence for a little bit, until he finally spoke again. "what about Tahj's father?"

     "Destiny and William owed a lot of money to this guy that was their friend for the drugs they would steal. So they would have one of his sons come over to the house and do w-what every he wanted t-to me, like beat and sexually assault me" Vincenzo slamming his fist on the desk, making me flinch. "principessa I'm so sorry this happened to you" He said getting up from the desk and pulling me into a tight hug. "Do you remember what his name is?" "L-lucas Anderson I t-think" "okay" he said still embracing me, we hugged for about 10 minutes before I pulled away and gave Vincenzo a small smile. He wiped my tears, and I got up "I'm good to go back to my room, right?" "Yea principessa you're good to go, you still have to leave your phone though" "alright" I said putting my phone on his desk. I walked out the office and went into my room quickly closed my door. I sighed feeling a huge weight  lifting off of me and I couldn't do anything but cry. I was overwhelmed and over stimulated at the same time. Tahj was sleeping so he didn't hear me. I went over to him and laid next to him, holding him as I cried, I cried for 30 minutes until I eventually calmed down. I decided to get to bed early it's 6:30 but I'm really tired. I grabbed pajamas out of my closet sat them on my bed and walked into the bathroom to take my shower. I got in the shower and let my body relax. My anger has really gotten the best of me, and I hate how it makes me look. I finished up showering and put on my pajamas. Since Tahj was still in his school clothes, I grabbed his washcloth and put some soap and warm water on it. I walked out of the bathroom and quickly wiped him down and put his pajamas on. Thankfully Tahj is potty trained so he can get up to use the bathroom on his own. I put the both of us in bed and I quickly fell asleep. I woke up the next morning not really wanting to go to school. I do suffer from depression and it's gotten really bad over the years. I got Tahj up and put his outfit on, we walked into the bathroom and I brushed his teeth and washed his face. I quickly brushed my teeth and did his hair, I put some lotion on his face before giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Mommy, are you eating lunch with me and Prince again today?" "No baby I'm not mommy's not feeling well so I'm going to stay home from school today." I said stroking his hair. "okay" he said looking down sadly. "But it's okay at least you have Prince with you and you two can sit in the lunchroom with the other kids" i said trying to cheer him up. "Yay!" He said jumping up and down.
