V : SCHOOL

Yesterday, Jeonghan hired Seungcheol's team and they're already on the move.

Like.. the two, right now? I guess.

Hansol and Wonwoo were sitting inside the car, waiting for the students to come out from the school building, "I'm actually very lazy right now." Wonwoo lay down at the back of the seat while scrolling through TikTok on his phone. The one at the driver seat and let out a long sigh, "Cheol-hyung just woke us up early in the morning for a short ass briefing.. I'm gonna sleep." he closes his eyes but he opens it back after hearing the students being noisy outside.

"Nice, you had a second of sleep and now, let's go." he grabs his note at the passenger seat and exit the car along with Hansol, who's struggling to wear his jacket. Wonwoo walk to the gate and smiled at the girls, "Hello, by any chance.. do you know Jay?" the girls were giggling and blushing when they looked at the two men standing right infront of them, "Uhm, y-yes. He's my classmate.. why?" one of the girls said while stuttering. "Can we have a talk?"

They were at the cafe, Hansol and Wonwoo with a girl named Seol, who claimed herself as Jay's classmate. Wonwoo was the first one to ask a question, "Where was the last time, you've seen him?" he takes a note when the girl mutters her answer, "Well, it was like weeks ago? Before he got suspended from school for I don't know reason." she takes a sip on her banana milk that they bought for her, "Oh.. did you went outside at night like two days ago?" Hansol asked and the girl respond without stuttering, "Oh, no. I didn't.. I heard there's an accident that happened there, was it-" Seol tried to finish her words but Wonwoo was fast to react and stop her, "Uhm, no. But there's a case about Jay and we would like to trust you to keep quiet about this interview. Last question, if you don't mind.. who is responsible for Jay's suspension? Was it the discipline unit?" the girl shook her head, "It was the principle." the two guys nod their head while writing down on their notes, "I guess that's all. Thank you, Seol and please don't talk about this to anyone."

After the girl left, Hansol stretches his arms, "Yah, we already had one interviewer and you're already tired?" Wonwoo complained and stood up, watching the students roaming around the school, "Okay, a task to make the word faster. Split up; you meet the principal, ask that person regarding Jay's suspension.. and I'll interview some students." he said pointing at Hansol.

"Wow, my task is easier than I though, thanks hyung."

Hansol asked several students and finally arrived infront of the principal's room. He knocked the door and takes a deep breathe, "Come in." a male voice from inside said, he opens the door to reveal a person standing near a windoe where he can watch the students at the gate, "Is there any excuse why you're here? If it's about reporting or somethings related to discipline, I suggest you to meet M-" the principal finally looked at Hansol, closing the door, "Hansol-ah.." Mr. Boo, as in Seungkwan, muttered and squints his lips before speaking up, "Who are you?" Hansol sighed, "I'm Chwe Hansol, a detective." he continued as he looks at the principal, in the eyes, "By the way, Seungkwan. That fucking pissed me off. Whatever, mister.. Boo, I'd like to interview you." he sits on the couch and Seungkwan sat infront of him, "Well, what is it, Mr. Chwe?"

"It's about one of your student, Park Jay Jongseong."

"I'm sorry, what are you on about him? Did he do something wrong?"

"He didn't. I heard that he's in suspension from school."

"Ah, yes. He is." Seungkwan said, answering briefly and made Hansol sighed again, "Just.. tell me what did he do before getting suspended?"

"He got into a fight with a student for weeks and we had to stop them, that's all. If you need more questions, please, be fast. I don't have time for this."

"That's all. I don't need you anymore. Thank you for answering my question." Hansol's tone was cold and he added what the prinicpal said into his note. As Hansol was about to exit the room, the other spoke up, "Hansol-ah.. I.. I actually missed you and.. don't you want to go back like we used to?" the detective stopped from walking and rolled his eyes, "It's fine.. if you don't want to. But, if you ever need help.. come here and.. I'll help you, Hansollie." the detective shook his head as he felt the tears swelling inside his tears and close the door as he storms off. He went straight to the stairs as he felt his heart getting more pressures, he also misses his ex-boyfriend, Boo Seungkwan.

Wonwoo searched for Hansol for an hour now and he already got some notes to share with. He found Hansol, sitting on the floor, feeling tired, "Yah, how are you talking with the principal?" the older asked and he nods his head, "Yep, got one."

They ripped their notes and take a pictute of it to send into their groupchat.

*Jay got into suspension from school.
