Chapter 1: Indroductions are always nice

I'm Beca, an 18 year old. Let's see where to start, I live by myself, I'm an only child, my parents are dead, and I got a secret. I know wow, big deal I got a secret. Oh I also have raven black hair and ocean blue eyes. Now to the secret...

"Jeez I'm going to be late to work, again" I said to myself. I was driving to my job at the aquarium, (I live in California by the beach). I was driving in my black challenger to work by the beach but I stopped, I noticed something on the shore line. I thought maybe I should check it out. So I did. I got down to the beach. There I saw it the most beautiful thing that I ever saw! I bet your thinking it's a whale, well too bad, it's a shark, a great white to be exact. Now I'm a shark lover so I didn't go running back to my car like a dummy. I stood and watched and I noticed it was slowly dying. Most people would be like "good riddance" not me. So like any shark lover would do I tried to fix it. Luckily I'm a strong person with a salt water pool at home. So I picked it up and put it in the back seat. It was still fairly small it was probably a juvenile or else I would have to leave it there. Also I had a bucket in my car, for some odd reason, and got some sea water. I took a little and rubbed it on its gills and sped home. Luckily the cops didn't catch me but I live like five minutes away. I got home picked up the shark, added more salt water, and threw it into the pool, almost immediately it started swimming. I went and called sick and got my swimsuit so I could go check it out.
I got into the pool carefully because this is still a dangerous animal we're  taking about and went over to it. It knew I was there and before it could do anything I flipped it belly side up so I could check the gender and give a name. "Looks like... a girl" I said. I thought for a moment and came up with a name, well actually while I was thinking, someone said "Blade". That was a little weird so of course I looked around and the only one was blade. But I like that name any way so I didn't think much on it.
I got out and changed then went to the fisherman's market to get some fish for blade.
Once I got there I asked for some big ol' tuna. "5  large tunas please". After I got the tunas I went home to feed blade.

"Hey Blade, I got you some tuna!" I turned around to go grab it. When I came back the shark was gone. I'm pretty sure sharks don't disappear in thin air. I turned around and walked into something.I looked up and found the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. "Hello?" "Hello" she said. She's actually talking to me. What who is 'she'? "Um... who are you?"
"Blade, I am a shark spirit. I waited a while for someone to help me and you showed enough courage and determination not to mention bravery to help me, most people just ran away. I am here to give you a gift for being so kind to me. I will be with you inside you. You will get all shark senses like speed,smell, and the ability to detect electric impulses like all sharks. You will also be able to shift into a shark. You can also breathe underwater. And also be a greater swimmer. I will be able to talk to you through your mind and you will be able to use me when you need me." Oh. My. God! Best thing ever!!"thank you so much words cannot express how happy I am to know that!"
"I'm glad you like it but do not tell anyone. We don't want people to know."
"Yes ma'am!"

So you see that is my amazing little secret I haven't got to try it out yet. Maybe I should try it now. 'Blade how do I shift?'

'Just think of being a shark. Might wanna get in the water first though'

'Ok' alright Beca think of being a great white shark. And nothing else. I think I'm doing it! "Ouch!!" 'Blade why does it hurt?'

' it always hurts the first time but it will get better'

'Ok thanks'

'Your welcome now shift back and go get some live fish to practice hunting and your shark skills'

'Ok, can do'

So I shifted back into human form and went to the fisherman's wharf. But something smelled like really good. 'Blade why does the fish smell so good?'

'Because you're  part shark and I don't think that is the only thing that smells good here. I'm getting strange vibes from something. We should go check it out.'

'Ok and then we will get the fish right blade?, I'm really hungry'

'Yeah just use your electric senses to scout out the smell'

'Ok.'

Uh let's see here where is that smell what is it smelling like? Oh, I got it rain water and forests. That's odd actually. Hmmm. There blade it's a person. Wait what? 'Blade tell me what's going on?'

'I don't know Beca I am just drawn to it'

'Ok so it's a person lets leave it alone for now I am really hungry'

'Ok get some food why I check it out'

Hmm. Wonder why he smells like that.  Oh carp! He's turning around start walking the other direction and high tail it out of here! I walked over to the tuna booth as quickly as I could I don't think he saw me but I think his buddy did. Uh they are coming over here wait I think they are talking. 'Blade'

' got it'

"Mate"

Um what did he just say? Uh I need to get my tuna and go. Now! I quickly walked to my car and put the tuna in the back and hightailed it outta there. Wait there he is behind me and his friends they're  in a black four door truck. Nice pick in cars actually. Better loose him though he seems to be gaining.

Alright right around this corner is my house I think I lost them though.

Time for sushi and hunting.

"Duh duh, duh duh, dunna dunna, do de do!" I love the jaws  theme song! Gotcha! I got them yes I'm great at this actually.  Now I need to get cleaned and ready for bed.

Time for bed. Man I am so tired after today.

....

"Huh what?" 'Blade I think something is here'

'Ok I think you are right start sniffing and listening'

Hmm. "Oh what are you doing!..." uh stay awake stay awake Beca! Fight the chloroform! Uh not working...
