Chapter 11: After The Fight

Beca P.O.V.

We walked out of the water back to the pack house. The guys and I all sat down because fighting in water was really tiring. I was still thinking about the fight and how the rogues would retaliate. But some how I got to thinking about how I missed my old cat that I had when I was little. He was my baby and I really missed him, he was a black cat. I really want one. So I thought to myself why don't I just go buy one? I mean no one is stopping me right? So I got my purse and keys and walked out. Before I left the guys asked where I was going. I told them I was bringing them a present. They looked excited but unsure. I got in my car and drove to the animal shelter, I had been there many times before so I went to the cat section. "May I help you miss?" It was one of the employees. I turned and looked at him. "Yes I would like a black short hair and preferably it be in the age range of 6 months to one year old". "Oh we have just the one you will like her". I was excited I hadn't had a girl since I was younger. We walked to the end of the row and I saw her curled up in the corner. She looked so scared and small I just had to take her. I knew she needed me and I needed her. "How much for her?" "$60" well that wasn't a lot but I had to buy every thing else. I paid for her and went to the supply section. I picked out a little blue cat bed, a black collar,some little food and water bowls,a litter box,litter, and a special little carrying case for her. I picked the cat up and placed the collar around her neck. She was scared of me at first but as soon as I held her to me she relaxed. It was very cute. But I had to think of a name for her. I got it Kali! "Could you in grave her name on this collar?"

"Sure ma'am what is the name?"

"Kali" The guy took the collar while I finished getting Kali's stuff in the car. I held Kali while I waited. The guy came out with her collar after a couple minutes. "Here you go have a nice day"

"Thank you!" I slipped the collar around her neck and walked out with her and went home. I had Jared help bring the stuff in and help set it up. I put her bed in the living room and her litter box in the bathroom. I also put her food and water in the kitchen. I mind linked all the guys to come down for their surprise. I hid Kali in the cupboard. She wanted out. The guys came downstairs with curious looks on their faces. "What is the surprise Beca?"

"I need you to close your eyes because I have someone that wants to meet you her name is Kali." The guys ears perked up after I said girl. I walked over to the cupboard and took Kali out. I took Kali to the sofa and between all the boys. "Open your eyes" once they saw Kali they sat in shock until it melted into symphany. They started to pet Kali but Kali hissed at them. "Sorry guys I guess she only likes me". I was a little sad that she didn't like them but I was mostly happy that I got to have her all to myself.

Asher P.O.V.

I sat down with the guys and closed my eyes like instructed. I was thinking a girl was here because I felt the couch dip. Beca said to open our eyes and I looked at Beca's lap and their was this little black kitten she was adorable. We all reached to pet Kali but she hissed at us. I was a little disappointed but not a lot I was more jealous. I wouldn't get her to myself any more. But I was glad she had someone other than us and the girls to keep her company. I let her keep the cat.
