Chapter 17: Potions

I watched him study me as if looking me over for imperfections, it was creeping me out. The dude killed my man, he's lucky I don't kill him now but I need him to bring Asher back. But when the time is right that bitch is going down. He left the room after locking the door and I heard his footsteps go down a hall and a staircase. I used my shark hearing now, listening to him go somewhere. He came back a few minutes later and I eyed him suspiciously.

He pulled out a blue potion, purple potion, and a red potion. "Now I'm sure you are wondering what these are, the blue will bring him back, but I need you to drink the purple, you must wait until he drinks the red potion after he wakes up. I'll tell you what the potions are after you all drink them." I looked at him angrily and  grabbed the purple potion and sniffed as I eyed him about it. He smiled smugly at me. "Will you do it?" I looked at him and the potion and then Asher then back at him again. "Fine I'll do it." He smiled and put the blue potion up to his lips.

Asher's lips parted and his body took in the liquid, I watched as his body took in a deep breath and regained its color. Asher's eyes fluttered open and he looked at me. "Beca..." I went over to him and helped him sit up. "I'm here baby." I looked into his eyes with concern and I heard someone tapping their foot impatiently. I stood up very quickly and got right up in his face and growled lowly my eyes shining dark violet almost black. He stepped back a step and held his hands up in surrender.

I smirked and went over to Asher who was trying not to laugh at him. I smiled down at Asher. "We have to drink these, its part of the deal. Just know I love you." Asher took the red potion and drank it quickly, I looked at the guy and he was smiling evilly. I saw Asher look at me and slowly loose the love in his eyes he had for me, it was heart breaking.

"Asher..." His eyes snapped to me and he looked at me curiously. "Do I know you?" I looked at Asher and he didn't know me? This was horrible, he doesn't know me! The guy told me to drink mine and I sadly took it.

I swallowed it and my heart started hurting. I started breathing harder and harder as the pain got worse. I clutched my chest and screamed in agony. Why was this hurting so bad! I heard the guy laughing hysterically. Asher rushed over to me and asked frantically if I was okay. I screamed and fell over in pain. I felt like I was dying and my vision was getting darker by the minute. Asher was trying to help me and yelled what did you do to her at the guy. "What...did you...do...to me...?" He got down on my level and whispered in my ear. "I made him fall out of love with you. And I destroyed your mate bond with him and the first person you see will be your new love. Sweet dreams princess." I shut my eyes fighting back the tears. I opened them gasping for breath as I felt like my heart was literally shattering inside of me. The darkness was getting stronger by the second and I let it over take me as it enveloped me in darkness...

Asher P.O.V.

I watched as the Beca gasped for air and then clutched her chest, I didn't know who she was but I felt an unknown attraction to her. I looked over at the man in the room who was laughing at her. "What did you do to her?!" He grinned evilly and I tried figuring out what was wrong with her. Her beauty was breathtaking but she was in pain and I needed to help in any way I could. Beca was falling into unconsciousness quickly. She asked the man what he did to her and I heard him whisper very quietly in her ear that he made me fall out of love and he destroyed our mate bond. She is my mate! No! She passed out and I screamed no at him. I got up and grabbed the guy by his shirt collar. "That was my mate and you destroyed the bond! How could you! You sick bastard!" He smiled smugly at me. "You can get her back, a kiss of true love will do it, but when she wakes up she'll love me and forget who you are, she'll still know everything that has happened with you two but nothing romantic, you'll just be a background person to her and she'll love me." I let him go and punched him in the face. "Fine I'll make Beca fall in love with me, you mark my words. How can I still be around her?" He chuckled at my words. "You are to be her personal servant. I've worked out most of this already. By the way it's Ryan." 'Ryan' walked out of the room and I looked at Beca one last time.

I followed him to a huge bedroom that was white and gray, Beca would love this. "Now, her bathroom is right there through that door and her closet is next to it, this door on the other side of the room is the room to your bedroom, so if she ever needs you, you are just right next door. You are to come with her everywhere unless I'm with her. Got it? Good, go put your uniform on and sit in your room until she calls for you." I growled at him and walked back to my new room, it was small with a bed in the corner and a desk. With a small closet. This will do. I laid down on the bed and sighed. I have to get her to love me again.
