How...

How can I possibly convey the extent of the devastation that unfolded after Vietnam? It was foolish of me to harbor any hope after defeating Anguirus. The jubilation within the A.M.F. over the success of eliminating a monster like Godzilla was palpable. I received praise and gratitude for my contributions, and there was a newfound sense of optimism among us. Initially, I welcomed this optimism as a positive development. Our morale had been faltering due to the numerous failed attempts to hunt down Godzilla. The demise of Anguirus seemed to herald a turning point, a sign that victory was within reach.

Little did I realize, this was merely the precursor to an apocalypse. I should have been more cautious. I sensed a presence, akin to Godzilla but with a dark and malevolent energy. Its very existence seemed to spread corruption like a virus, infecting even our own scientists with its influence.

I must confess, I allowed myself to become overconfident. The newfound power I possessed went to my head, making me feel invincible. But life had other plans.

It's as if this malevolent force, out of sheer boredom, orchestrates their emergence, staging a grotesque battle royal...

For this landscape... is nothing short of hellish...

Almost the entire A.M.F. group was torn apart. Each of us lost someone dear. I remember the days when we lived in comfortable homes, but now we're reduced to homeless wanderers, seeking shelter in the ruins of once-grand hotels. Our sanctuary, our base, was annihilated by the very scientists who once aided us. It was a horror I couldn't bear. I couldn't bring myself to harm the faces of those I'd grown to cherish. Jayce... Heimerdinger... and...
