Suns POV:

I look into the abyss of space as my planets chatter about random things, I would tell Mercury my newest sun pun! But he's busy playing space poker with the others. I'm actually happy for him, he's finally getting along with the others!

I snap out of my thoughts because I see some commotion happening in a near by solar system (a/n: no it's not proxima, she'd never.) I watch attentively as I witness a star..eating its own PLANET?! W-WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT, WHAT DID THE POOR PLANET DO TO DESERVE THAT.

I felt more and more tears roll down my face as I kept on watching the massacre in the other solar system...

Mercury POV:

It's been awhile ever since sun told us to go back to our orbits, but..something is different, sun seems way less enthusiastic than usual, I should check up on him, I glance up at him again to see the same tired and depressed look he's had for quite a while now..

As I float closer towards him, it took him way longer than usual to notice me, especially when it comes to me to.

Mercury: h-hey sun.. I've noticed you've been really down recently and I just wanted to come and check up on my friend.

Sun: Oh.. hey Mercury, I'm doing just peachy! Just having a rough day Yk?..

Mercury: more like a rough month..please sun! You can tell me, we're friends remember? And friends help each other out.

Sun: O-ok well, about a month ago I had witnessed a star e-eating its own planets..And I-I I was so s-shocked and..

Sun couldn't help but start crying as he retold his story, I tried my best to comfort him as he let it all out..

Mercury: see? Doesn't that feel better now that you've let it all out?

Sun: Y-yeah it does..thank you Mercury!

Mercury: and also one last thing sun..

Sun: hm, what is it?

I float up and land onto sun's nose and I give him a little kiss on the bridge of his nose, it was hot enough standing on sun's nose but it got even more unbearable as he stood there a flustered mess.

I jump down as fast as I could and sped back to my orbit, but instead of being met with emptiness I saw Venus looking at me crossing his arms while glaring at me.

Mercury : o-oh.. hey Venus..

We both stood there in silence until..

Venus: Why are you both so gay-

Mercury: SHUT UP!
