Chase And Run [Wenzhou]

part 14 - it begins.

"Chase me, wen kexing."

"Chase me, wen kexing."

"Chase me, wen kexing."

"ARGGGH!!" Wen kexing muffled his scream into the pillow, kicking his feet giddily as he kept remembering zhou zishu's words. Ever since he came back home a few hours ago, he couldn't stop thinking about their conversations.

He didn't even hesitate to accept the deal just now. His head automatically nodded furiously like a madman when zhou zishu stated his demand. Wen kexing wouldn't just chase, he would crawl, roll or do cartwheel if that meant he got the chance to be with zhou zishu.

"Chase me, wen kexing." He giggled maniacally...

...while being watched by his two friends.

"DUMBASS DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO ME?!!" Wen kexing flinched, the yell immediately snapped him out of his daydreaming. Looking at qiao luohan annoyed expression, he realized that he forgot her and du pusa's existence in his room since a while ago.

"Sorry, what did you say?" He released an awkward chuckle.

Qiao luohan sighed, shaking her head in disbelief. "You're hopeless."

He grinned shamelessly, his head was now filled with the thought of zhou zishu. "Alright, alright. I'm sorry. So what did you say?"

Du pusa and qiao luohan both sighed in disbelief. But they decided not to ponder too much into his behavior, they knew how stupid someone could get when they're in love.

"Right, so my club decided to go camping this weekend. But, I couldn't join them since I have a family matter. So wen kexing, can you join the camping on my behalf?" Qiao luohan took his hand and squeezed it tightly, desperately but also forcefully.

Wen kexing widened his eyes, struggling to pull his hand away. "What? Why would I join the camping? Why don't you ask du pusa?"

Du pusa held her arms in the air and shrugged. "Sorry, I have my own club activity this weekend."

"No way! I have things to do." He shook his head furiously. There's no way he would go to a boring camp when he could've spent his free time chasing zhou zishu every hour, every minute, every second, for seven days a week.

"Zhou zishu will join the camping. He just joined the club."

It didn't take even a second for wen kexing to say, "fine, I'll go." when he heard the statement from qiao luohan.

Du pusa chuckled as she looked at qiao luohan. "You should've said that first and he would be the one begging you instead."

Qiao luohan sighed in relief. "Gosh I should've known, he's hopeless...he wasn't like this when he dated other people before..."

Meanwhile, wen kexing was already lost in his own world. He started planning how to keep zhou zishu at his side throughout the whole camping trip.

Zhou zishu looked outside the window while waiting for others to enter the bus. While drowning in daydream, he felt someone sitting next to him. He was certain that it was han ying since the man also joined the trip.

But he was wrong, completely wrong when he heard the familiar sultry voice whispered in his ear. "A-shu~"

He flinched and quickly turned around, his eyes widening as seeing the familiar face. "Wen kexing?"

There he was, grinning from ear to ear, leaning close to him while eyes twinkling with playfulness. "Yes?" Wen kexing tilted his head.

"What the hell are you doing here? The bus is for our club camping trip." Zhou zishu furrowed his eyebrows.

Wen kexing shamelessly nodded as he admitted. "I'm joining the trip."

"What? Why would you do that?"

Wen kexing's grin widened, and he casually rested his chin on zhou zishu's shoulder, causing him to tense up a little. "Firstly, my friend asked me to take her place since she has other things to do. But of course, I didn't agree at first since I'm too lazy to join something like this. Then, I heard that you are in the club too, so I thought it would be a good idea to join...like I can start appreciating the natural environment and..."

Wen kexing leaned his face closer to zhou zishu, causing the man to move back in slight panic. "..start appreciating this beautiful view in front of me."

Zhou zishu felt like exploding from embarrassment and his heart was pounding fast, almost leaping out of his chest at this point. It's not even funny at all, he was literally freaking out in the inside like a hopeless teenager.

"Stop...stop talking nonsense." He cleared his throat awkwardly and pushed wen kexing's face away from him. He looked away, acting tough as if he didn't just scream from the inside.

Wen kexing chuckled. "I'm not, I'm just going to do as I promised." He leaned in, his breath hitting zhou zishu's skin as he whispered. "I'll chase you."

FUCK FUCK FUCKKKK!!!! Zhou zishu's head was already screaming and screaming in panic, even though he didn't show it on his face. "Yeah yeah do whatever you want..as if you would succeed."

Wen kexing smirked and leaned back against the seat, closing his eyes. "We'll see."

At that moment, zhou zishu knew he was doomed. He would probably get a heart attack if wen kexing actually start his move.

Han ying who just entered the bus stopped his movement in the middle just to stare at them for a few seconds before his mouth quirked up into a smirk. He showed him a thumbs up and moved his lips as he said silently, "Good luck."

Zhou zishu's eyes twitched, flicking his middle finger at him. Han ying made a teasing whistle and took a seat behind them.

As the bus started to move, wen kexing's head casually rested zhou zishu's shoulder, taking every chance he got to be close to the man. He held back a chuckle when he heard zhou zishu's heavy breathing and felt his tensed body.

Did it make zhou zishu panic and want to scream? Yes.

But would zhou zishu pushed his handsome crush's head away? No, no of course not.
