Chapter 7

It has been around two weeks since the 3 Houses were all merged into one, and so far, it has been going very well, despite Seteth's complaints about it going downhill anytime soon. But with the combined efforts of Jaune and Sitri, they continue to make it work.

Like what they discussed, Sitri and Jaune trained their selected Students during their Free Time, teaching them everything there is to know about Combat, which was they learned back in Arcadia. Besides teaching the Students he selected, Jaune also taught all of those in the Blue Lions during the Free Periods. After all, this is the House he is a part of, so he should use that time to train them and hone their skills, and it's not just that. Jaune was also made the Tactics and Strategy Professor for the Officer's Academy, this was recommended by both Hanneman and Manuela, with Alois and Jeralt joining in, seeing as the Students, and even the people in the Monastery, were able to learn so much from Jaune's Classes.

And it's not just Jaune that impressed the people of the Monastery, but Sitri as well. Like with Jaune, she also took in a large group of Students, examples being Lysithea, Dorothea, Edelgard, Linhardt, Leonie, and even Hubert. But there is one thing everyone knows about her, which gave out to an aura of fear whenever she's around, not the kind of fear where you are going to die by her hands, more like a horrible punishment that will traumatize you. Sitri is strict, very strict, she aims for discipline and order in the Classroom, and if you fail to abide to her rules or orders, you will get severely punished.

Lorenz, Bernadetta, Caspar, Linhardt, Sylvain, and Claude learned that the hard way.

But even with her strict demeanor, Sitri is an amazing Professor, makes sense since she's an Instructor in the Arcadian Military Academy, she has taught a 1,000 Cadets every day, if she can handle that, she can handle this group of Students.

The 3 Houses learned a lot during those weeks, with Sitri and Jaune offering them many means to learn, such as the two teaching them CQC, which is Close Quarters Combat, some like Lorenz and Hubert, even that of Linhardt and Lysithea, questioned why they need to learn this form of Combat, but in the words of Sitri.

Sitri: Even if you have access to Magic, if you lose your weapon or have no means to cast a Spell. You will need another way to defend yourself one way or another.

With some hesitation, they also had Edelgard and Claude force them to give in to the lessons, Jaune also "persuaded" them, they learned the CQC Lessons in the end. So far, all of them were getting the hang of it, Individuals such as Mercedes, Annette, Hilda, Ignatz, Marianne, Ashe, and Dorothea, surprised the Professors on how they were able to get the hang of it, even got good at it. Those like Caspar, Leonie, and Raphael, are a natural at it, which was no surprise there. Besides that, Jaune and Sitri made sure all of the Students at least try any form of Weapon, to allow them to get the hang of it, some didn't like it at first, but those like Felix, Leonie, Petra, Claude, Dimitri, Ingrid, Edelgard, and even Ferdinand of all people, understood why this is a necessity. For certain situations, you need to use any Weapon at your disposal to defend yourself, and know how to wield it.

Ironically enough, despite Jaune's claims of not being interested in Byleth, the two spent a lot of time together after Class, the reason being, Byleth wanted to train and learn from Jaune, so she can put in her end when it comes to teaching the Students. Jaune requested Sitri to make sure Jeralt doesn't see him with his Daughter. Oum knows what will happen if Jeralt finds out Jaune is spending time with Byleth after hours. It won't be pleasant that's for sure. Even so, Jaune mainly focused on teaching Byleth about Strategy and Tactics, since he knows, Byleth will be able to master any Weapon he gives her, so he decided to focus on that. Jaune can tell, since she struggled with that topic in the beginning, but he did teach her a few Magic Spells that he knows from Arcadia, adding more to her arsenal.
