The two men walked for a little while, but they didn't complain. They were wary, yes; However, the mutant seemed to slightly enjoy their company. The pleasant smile on its face as it led the two Hunters quite far from the park was all that needed to be shown.

The creature sniffed the ground like a dog as it walked on all fours. It looked real focused...

The Mutant's cat ears perked up, and he took a sharp turn to the left.

"What the hell?" Jason groaned, shocked by the sudden change in pace. He was also shocked by the mutant's speed and power. He's never seen anything run so fast that it leaves a sizable craters wherever they place their feet. Nevertheless, he chased after the Mutant by following the craters they left behind them.

Simon followed with a more relaxed expression than Jason's irritated one.

"If we were gonna be chasing a superhuman who can shift his body as quick as we can blink, I think we should've worn our Xeno Suits before coming here. The speed boost would've been nice for you, right?" Simon grinned.

"You're not wrong." Jason sighed, "You go on ahead. Make sure not to lose the mutant."

"On it." A red aura coated Simon, and he suddenly zoomed off as well.

'Where the hell is it going? Is it trying to flee, or did something happen-'

Jason's phone started to buzz-much to his annoyance-but he answered it anyways.

"What do you want?" He asked the caller rather rudely as he hopped over branches, rocks, and fallen trees. He also watched the ground as to not fall in the holes the creature and his friend created.

"I noticed that you and Simon are taking quite long to figure this kidnapping out. I called your phone as an attempt to see if you're alive, and I guess it was time well spent."

Jason knew that voice.

It was a voice of elegance and superiority, yet Jason hated both of those things.

Jason sighed again, "What else do you want, Madame Miranda?" He knew the little check-up wasn't all the woman wanted. She barely calls any of her M.H.A associates.

Madame Miranda is another Elite Hunter among the NORTH section of the M.H.A. She's a pleasant person, but she has a cruel, passive aggressive personality.

Miranda giggled, "As sharp as always. Well, I guess I'll get to the point. This...Missing Child that's happening in our section of the city has finally reached the public. The media has been criticizing how long it's taking us to find her, and for the lack of child safety in our section. And with me being one of the top M.H.A influences, they're mainly on me about it."

Jason could hear Miranda's growl of irritation, "If you were to ask me, I'd say the onlookers are a bunch of feeble, mindless cows that are waiting to be put down one by one. They should really mind their own business instead of insulting us Hunters who work day and night to protect those worthless lives, but that's my take. Anyways," She cleared her throat, "I'm coming to assist the both of you in search for this girl before the public drives me insane, ta ta!"

"What-" Before Jason could expose his shock and denial to the woman, she'd already hung up.

"Well, this might be bad." He said calmly; however, he was anything but calm.

Jason and Simon are probably really close to finding this missing girl, and all they had to do was gain the trust of this nature mutant...thing. If Madame Miranda was to show and suddenly attack the mutant, then things might take a turn for the worst. Then again, Miranda's help might be needed. Simon went off to chase the Mutant, and he could've gotten himself into a trap.
