Gemini was in the middle of his classes when he got a message from his boyfriend, saying he was going to the hospital. Without hesitating, he left his classes immediately, jumped into his car, and drive off to the hospital location Fourth had given him. He was really worried and wanted to be there for him as soon as possible.
Racing through the streets, Gemini's mind was full with concern for Fourth. He kept checking his phone for any updates while navigating the traffic. When he finally arrived at the hospital, he parked his car in a hurry and went inside, looking for where Fourth might be.
At the reception, Gemini quickly explained the situation. The staff, seeing his distress, directed him to the area where the boy was. Gemini rushed through the corridors, his heart pounding, until he found Fourth sitting in the waiting area, looking a bit pale but otherwise okay.
Fourth explained that he had a minor accident and needed to get checked but assured Gemini it was nothing serious. Gemini, still catching his breath from the rush and the scare, sat down beside him, holding his hand, and prepared to wait with him until everything was sorted out.
"Why are you here again, baby?" he asked gently, trying to meet Fourth's eyes.
Fourth shifted uncomfortably, avoiding his boyfriend's gaze. Finally, he spoke, "I just... I started to feel really hot and so I rushed here. Silly, right?"
Gemini furrowed his brows, leaning in closer. "That doesn't sound right. You're hiding something from me," he pressed, his voice soft yet firm, filled with worry rather than accusation.
Before Fourth could reply, the door to the waiting area opened and a doctor stepped in. He glanced between the two before saying, "Mr. Nattawat, we're ready for you now. I'm afraid we'll need to see you alone, please."
"It's okay. I'll be right here waiting for you," Gemini said, trying to offer a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

Inside, I sat on the edge of the examination bed, feeling the chill of the room seep through my clothes. The doctor, Dr. Mix, whom I had come to know well over the past few visits, was flipping through his medical records with a concerned expression.
"How have you been feeling since our last visit, Mr. Nattawat?" Dr. Mix asked, looking over his glasses. "And have you been taking the medication as prescribed?"
I nodded, coughing slightly before answering, "Yes, I've been taking everything you gave me. But I still feel pretty weak, and the coughing hasn't gotten much better."
Dr. Mix listened intently, making notes in my file. "It sounds like your condition is being stubborn. We might need to adjust your treatment plan," he said thoughtfully. As he spoke, he moved closer to me, listening to my lungs with a stethoscope, his brows furrowed in concentration. After a few moments of silence, filled only by the sound of my breathing, Dr. Mix walked over to the door and peeked outside. He spotted Gemini, who was pacing back and forth in the hallway, a bundle of worry and anticipation.
Turning back to me, Dr. Mix asked softly, "Does he know about your condition? Your...?"
"No, he doesn't know. I... I didn't want to worry him," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.
Dr. Mix nodded understandingly, "I think it might be important for him to know. Having someone to support you through this can make a big difference. And from what I've seen, he seems ready to be there for you, every step of the way."
I looked towards the door, thinking about Gemini's worried face, and realized how much I needed him, not just as a presence but as a partner in facing this challenge. I knew what I had to do, even if the thought made my heart heavy.

As Fourth emerged from the examination room, Gemini's concerned gaze immediately locked onto him, and he bombarded Fourth with a flurry of questions.
"Baby, what did the doctor say? Are you okay? Is it serious?" Gemini's voice trembled with worry, his eyes scanning Fourth's face for any signs of distress.
With a heavy heart, Fourth forced a reassuring smile and replied, "It's nothing, just a minor issue. The doctor said I'll be fine with some rest and medication."
"Are you sure? You seem a bit off," he remarked.
"Yeah, I'm sure," Fourth lied, his stomach twisting with guilt. "I just need some time to recuperate, that's all."
Gemini pulled him into a comforting hug, and Fourth felt a pang of guilt gnawing at him. He wanted to shield his boyfriend from the truth, to spare him from the worry and anxiety that would surely follow if he knew the severity of Fourth's condition.
With each passing day, his condition deteriorated, and the guilt of hiding it from Gemini grew heavier. But for now, he convinced himself that it was for the best, that he was protecting the person he loved most from unnecessary pain and anguish.Another month later
