Noir was announced as the new king and his coronation soon followed. Imara left Soranika traveling down to Xitlalachu with Irie still trying to figure out what to do about Zaila. It was a bustling town, something Imara had never been used to. The crowded streets filled with not only people but dragons. A few dragon mixes could be seen hidden in the alleyways, "In my years as Queen I wouldn't have ever imagined it to look like this. There are so many mutts here," She said as Irie nodded. "Yes, and for the most part they live in peace. There is still some separation due to your husband's laws of course but still this town is more diverse than any kingdom I've been to." She said entering a building. "What is this place?" Imara asked as they entered the tavern.
"The place where we will find peace." She said, "Lady Irie, what can I get you?" A man said as she turned to Imara. "Two glasses of Starlight," She said as the guy nodded. He quickly served them and guided them over to a back room. "I almost thought you wouldn't make it," Easton said sitting on a table with Henrich. "How do you intend to go into these negotiations with King Noir," Easton asked. "My son knows the reason, it's her, she's the one that has filled his head with this nonsense," Imara said as Irie took a deep breath. "I think we can get through to him, but we need to distract my sister somehow." Irie answered. "So we are not overthrowing him?" Henrich asked. "No darling, just getting him on our side." Irie answered. "What about that girl?" Easton asked.
"My niece-" Irie began. "He'll listen to her but she... she is more of a shell and only listens to her mother," Imara added. "If we get to your niece we can make our way to the King." Easton answered. "Neither of them will listen if Zaila isn't out of the way. We must do something to draw her out this way." Irie continued. "Gather the dragons and people and whatever funky messes there is here," Easton added. "... Yes the mutts, you can lead the Mutts" Imara said as Irie turned to them. "...Can we leave the offensive language out? Though yes I supposed we can make a little noise here." Irie said, taking a deep breath.
"I got some extra help... if that was alright," Henrich said standing up. "Extra help?" Imara asked as a man came in in a full black suit and cape. "I figured another young king might be of help," He said. "Young King? From which kingdom?" Imara asked seeing as he did clearly seem quite young once in the light. "Pardon the late introduction. I'm King Silas of the Night Kingdom but please Guardian of the forest will suffice." Silas answered as they got a good look at him. Not many had been able to enter into the forest so not many imagined the king to be this young. "Guardian? You refuse the title of King? Do you not know of the glory that comes with the title?" Imara asked, confused. "I know the weight of the crown my father wore. It is not something to flaunt, but a curse. As his heir I must continue protecting the others and power the forest holds but they do not need a king just a guide," Silas replied.
"And how are you supposed to help us Guardian?" Imara asked, skeptical. "Guardian Silas is bound to their gem in the forest through powerful magic. It can be the deciding point right darling," Henrich said, turning to Irie. "Yes, Zaila is far too strong. A thousand men will not be able to take her if she fights back," She answered. "I thought we were recruiting dragons?" Imara asked. "We are but even they are too weak. They will die quickly-" Irie answered as Easton stared at Silas. "So the king of the beast will guide you? What demons will you call out?" He asked. Silas looked at him adjusting the sleeve of his suit jacket. "I will not engage in a fight. I bring support but I'm not involving my kingdom in another massacre. We are still recovering." Silas said as Easton and Henrich exchanged glances. "Please use this wisely, I was advised against offering this shard but I can recognize Lady Zaila's potential danger to my people '' Silas said, handing a small blue rock to Irie.
