Avni's pov

I hurriedly ran downstairs as we all weren't just celebrating bhai's birthday in any restraunt or at home throwing party we all were going out for a little holiday trip of three-four days and that too near a small jungle type area where niyati has an outhouse.

We all will surprise Bhai he doesn't even remember it's his birthday duh silly Bhai!
Yash was waiting outside in the car for me everyone left already only we were left. Three cars were going though we all could go In two but idk why we decided on three it's fine to me.

And right now I was struggling with my bag and outfit my hair and everything at once whyyy.

And when I went outside finally I saw Yash leaning against his car as usual and engrossed in his device we weren't awkward anymore rather we were friends.

"Hello Mr. purefact " I said he looked up from his phone and said "a very nice way of greeting someone huh well hello to u too miss nanny" I rolled my eyes at him as he helped me with my bag.

You guys must be thinking what's up

with that weird nickname well he has a habit of taking pure things and only speaking facts so I named him purefact and as I m their babysitter scolding them for everything I am nanny duh.

" You know you can stop behaving like an old lady who preaches people good or bad and scolds them and ofc stays on serious mode 24/7" he chuckled at his own line that he said right now I sighed at motioned him drive I m not arguing on this again nd again.

That's true I am the most serious person in our group but I wasn't like this before...

"Can I play some music?" He asked and I remembered a dialogue from an old movie and said" ye gadi chori ki hai?" He shook his head " tumhari hi hai na" he nodded " ha to chlao na Jo chlana"

(Is this car stolen?, it's ur right?, then why are you asking me!)

He laughed when he remembered the dialogue and taunted me " at least you are  trying not to be an old lady" . This guy huff!

TIME SKIP

I was lost thinking about how cold Novembers are in Delhi and here in banglore it doesn't even feel like it's actually winter. The car stopped as we came out I was about to carry my bag but Yash said he will bring it and dismissed me.

I went inside to find everyone sitting there maybe waiting for me. My footsteps announced my presence as aastha hugged me and dragged me to the couch and someone bought a glass of juice for me I looked up perplexed " are don't worry avni ji I won't give you poison" it was bhabhi Shivani bhabhi Govind bhai's wife.

As I quickly got up when aastha holded the glass and hugged her she patted my back and said " I know you stay buzy with your studies don't worry I am not mad this time" we heared someone clearing their throat and it was no one other than govind Bhai " I am in the line too to hug my sister, please excuse us miss" we all laughed at his words "sure not-so-gentleman" bhabhi sassed and went to give juice to Yash too.

TIME SKIP

It was night and there's a very big ground outside the house we were sitting there with bottles of beer in our hands. We all were done with dinner and everything was ready to wish bhai at night. My work was done and others were buzy doing there's aastha and niyati went inside just now and bhai was locked in his room we asked him to rest or you can say" forced" him to take rest.

It was just me and Yash sitting outside now enjoying sitting under stars.

Yash's pov

After the dinner we all decided to chat outside in that garden type area. Everyone left it was just me and her now..me and my avni...my daisy.

She was admiring the atmosphere, stars and I was admiring her..how her face was glowing the moon light a small smile tugged in her lips lost in deep thoughts.

I don't want anything else in the world if my every night goes like this with her...around me laughing..talking sitting with me it was more than enough for me...while coming here as it was a long drive she slept...and she started sweating suddenly and started whispering in pain..in agony she was wisper-shouting saying don't go there little avni...come back don't go.

When we came back here I couldn't control anymore and told everything to aastha my sister she understood me...and she told me some part of her past where she lost her childhood...where she lost little avni. I felt a pang in my heart aastha didn't tell me everything just some parts of them she said that when avni will want she will tell you herself so I didn't forced her to say more about it..I didn't have any rights over it..

I was watching her as I finally observed her eyes and they were glistening I know she was remembering everything again..that's why she was emotional..I slowly placed my hand over hers as she looked at me with a emotion which I can't..explain
"Where is little avni...?" I asked her when I couldn't keep my mouth more shut.

She looked at me for some time observing my expression seeing if I was joking or not...

"Sitaron me..." She said with tears in her eyes and a smile adorning her face.
